Safeway, Auburn CA

Yikes, I'm embarrassed to shop here. So expensive. And you don't really get anything for the extra price. The produce is just ok, and standard staple items (sack of sugar, can of beans, etc) are incredibly expensive here.

I love Safeway, lots of selections, friendly people, really clean, informative. I shop there a few times a week. Their produce section is awesome, and lots of gourmet items, as well as organic.
The negative I have about Safewsy is the parking lot, be careful, lots of uneven black top, needs repair badly, lots of broken uneven layers.

The older gentleman with the glasses helped me a lot to prepare my dinner produce was very good too many people in deli doing nothing bakery was well staffed Starbucks too slow checking out Patti was my checker very helpful

When in Safeway today on Sunday, May 6 and they have no monopoly playing cards wow that’s fantastic

Customer service is not their priority. Management needs to do a better job of hiring. Or.do a better job of training in customer service. Sorry the truth hurts but if you want to survive, service is key. Your welcome.

Friday's $5.oo specials I like. Their Monopoly game is a joke. I've got winner's, but you can't find what you won in the store.

Found everything I went in for & they even had coupons for a particular yogurt that I love, I’m a happy camper!

Are there are 2 safeways in town the one at Brunswick has the better food selections and a Deli.

Affordable good quality groceries and comfortable inside the store. Outside the stor can be very uncomfortable and even unsafe when aggressive panhandlers are out there being rude and even following people to their cars.

Had to complain to management for allowing customers bringing in non service dogs into the store
This has happened the last two times I shopped there. Safeway in Auburn, Ca, @ Hwy 49
