Safeway, Menlo Park CA

Nice store sometimes when 8 shop and forget to look at the expiration date and I'll be mad at myself but it's scary sometimes when you know it looks good or really it's not and they do get expensive but this is Safeway in Menlo Park it's not the ghetto Safeway it's Menlo Park like University.

Minor nit: it takes forever to use the half-off discounts from the bargain bin at self checkout

Great place has every thing I need. Cashiers are friendly. Deli people are friendly.
Store is clean and well stocked

The Safeway at Menlo Park is way better than all other Safeways in East Bay or SF area.
Saw larger variety of both packed goods and fresh produce.

Just when you thought everything was closed, you find this place open. Not your typical 7 pm closing time.

It's your basic Safeway. Lots of food. Pretty good selection. Usually not crowded. Easy parking and access from El Camino.

I have consistently found that the lines at this Safeway are longer than those elsewhere, at San Antonio Road for example. I really try to avoid it for this reason unless there is some other reason to be in Menlo Park. It's still preferable to the Safeway in Midtown which needs a total remodel.

One of the largest Safeway stores on the peninsula. Has a large selection of items and prices are reasonable on everyday items, try to catch the weekly sales where the prices are really good! Happy shopping!

This Store has the absolute best selection of any Safeway in the area. It is my favorite one. The prices are excellent, especially with sales ones. Additionally, the Staff are always friendly and kind to me. They enjoy hearing that they are appreciated. Safeway is my first and excellent choice for shipping.

The Safeway in Redwood City Sequioa Station. Has no motorized scooters, customer service said they were stolen and that Safeway had those as a courtesy guess we won't shop there much longer!

Constantly has extremely long cashier lines. Be ready to wait 20 minutes after you're done shopping.

Deli food is HORRIBLE! It is hard n cold n not eatable.n they close up too quickly.slowwwwww services! " Jus picked up $33 worth of deli food N its uneatable HARD, COLD N NASTY FRIED!

This place has the most extensive Deli, and Food Departments I have seen, even a DMV Machine to pay your registration.
It gets bussy by 11: 30 am for the Lunch crowd.
I just hoped the had more cashiers open.

This Safeway has everything! Not only is it huge and carry everything, they're also a smooth place, a coffee place, a pharmacy, a Quest place and a watch repair place!

It's a Safeway. Best feature is that it's open 24 hours. Less-good features are that there are usually huge lines, and they always seem to have most of the registers closed. Staff in the aisles also frequently don't know where food items are.

First time here. The self-check out was a bit wonky. It seemed like it rang everything up but when I checked my receipt there were only two of the eight items listed. I got fixed at customer service. Overall I like this store. It's clean and everything was easy to find.

Great store, seems to be clean and organized all the time, and it has great customer service. I have gone here while I'm staying here in Palo Alto, CA.

Very nica as usual. A worker came over to get me help, but I was just adjusting my bag on the service counter. Rare that someone will go quickly from the self service registers to go into the customer service room. She showed great customer service. 5 star.

I have gone here just 3 times this month since I have been in Palo Alto, CA for a quick visit. Their customer service was not that well, a little disrespectful, but I believe they can do better. The store overall is great, meaning that it is clean, organized, and well maintained.
