Safeway, Concord CA

Not one of the better Safeways. I usually go to the store in clayton which is very nice but this one definitely is not. Safeway is a great store but not all locations are fantastic. I reccomend not going to this one. It's really close to me but I would rather travel to the clayton location

For some reason there is always someone there either stealing, or acting out. Beside that Safeway club prices.

This is my go to grocery store. It helps that its about 1 mile away. They dont have about 4-5 things so it forces me to have to go to 2 other stores to get everything I need but the bulk of my shopping is done there.

My local Safety never lets me down and keeps coming through with quality items and great prices.

Frist, I want to say they have been doing a great job with keeping the store stocked and cleaned. It looks much better than it used too. My complaint is with the customer service, when I was in the self checkout lane the cashier over seeing the area was rude and tossing baskets near me and my family in an aggressive manner. Very unprofessional! If you are having a bad day don't take it out on the customer.

NOT ENOUGH HOT FOOD ESPECIALLY FRIDAY AFTERNOON FOR LUNCH AND DINNERS I DIDNT GET WHAT I WANTED FOR DINNER.

Nice place but why do they have routers over every other cash register at check out. And congregated by the liquor isle but not the rest of the store. I will tell you why, those routers are a bit more then a router, they are mind readers and they are loud if they have your brain frequency. So think about it if you wanted to steal people's credit card info or debt card wouldn't you put them that close together at check out. Since they work with a sun company called P. O. S.all they need is your pin number. ID'ing person's brain frequency is the hardest part so just becareful when you see a large store or hospital that has way to many routers and how they are placed. Cause when I go to these places they change color and then change after I leave. And beleave me it for no good reason. I tried to warn law enforcement on our county about this I even went to surrounding county law enforcement plus pentagon, Russian embassy, China embassy, and the white house because you guys don't see what's really going on. I had to do this all on my own social security money. Belave me if you or your kid hears loud noises in any store in El Dorado county go tell placerville police not any other law enforcement because they are the only ones that didn't participate in a mind reading positioning system that I became victim to just because I said I didn't want to work for the guy cause he is not trustworthy and someone told me that from the beginning so why do people think I don't know what's going on when I was explained how to do this and I said no I don't want to do this to anyone at all it's to risky of causing a innocent by standard even getting hurt just cause they push people and some are Pedro's and some are law enforcement and some are good people just trying keep there family's safe. Problem is you guys never bring me to any of the meetings or you see how fast this evil guy would be not showing up every time.

Horrible prices. Everything is hugely marked up then they tell you you have a pathetic discount if you scan their card. A ridiculous place. Maybe I see this because I just moved here but, wow people shopping here are being taken for suckers.

This was my first time at this Safeway location! I was able to find the particular items that I buy at every Safeway that I visit with relative ease. My check out specialist's name was Juan and he was very friendly! He wants to go school to be an EMT, a vital public service! Let's wish him good luck!

My family store, they all are very nice & go out of there way to help you. I appreciate them all.

Expensive

Stopped by this place at 6: 30 a.m. On February 1st. 2018 and bought some donuts and butter.
Opened the package while having breakfast with family. Found the butter spoiled and already expired 3 months ago.

Went back to the store and talked to the manager. He gave me his name and told me simply to put it back and get another one.

Wow.that simple

I used to grocery shopping list to Safeway all the time cuz I live right down the street and Concord Boulevard it was newer than Scott and kind of old. It's kind of small it needs to be rebuilt I think like the other ones are little outdated but it's location although it's hard to get in and out of the parking lots if you want to go a certain direction.

Prices are too high for groceries. Selling their ow brand, over pricing them and a lousy selection on the shelves.

This Safeway is one of the worst Safeway's I've ever been to cashier's disrespectful allowing customers to shop while their things are on the conveyor belt no consideration for people's time I will never come back to this Safeway and I would suggest the same for anyone else

I prefer Whole Foods because Safeway's Foods has too many additives and preservatives in their marketing products.

Some customers are shoplifting right in customers who will make a comment, as I was seeing it happen with others in lines nearest doors & hearing the buzzer alarms! Be careful!
