Safeway, Vallejo CA

The capital of Safeway is working hard to keep us all safe I do feel like they are doing a good job of sanitizing there

Cashier, supervisor and shoppers not wearing masks over their noses. One shopper with no mask and no one enforcing. Otherwise a nice enough store.

Their refrigerators and frozen cases are NEVER cold enough. Any ice cream you buy from there will never be frozen.

Did the online order with contactless pick up and it worked great. Because I'm familiar with the store, shopping was easier for me. Groceries were ready early and pick up is flexible.

Even though people are acting like it's the zombie apocalypse I still received fast and friendly service.

Theres nothing really wrong here. I just wish that the employees would be a little but more considerate how they put the food in the bags

Today I went in and every single employee I walked by or stopped next to greeted me with a smile. That doesn't always happen but was very impressed with the staff this morning.

I end up at this location, which is close to the house, several timed per week. It would be nice NOT to be a approached by homeless or group fundraisers constantly!

Always a long lying and the employees are really not great at customer service, this is the evening crew about 8 p.m.
I'd rather go to the Safeway on Lincoln Road at least their customer service is exceptional there.

Always understaffed (the staff is friendly). I'm currently in line for what I'm going to try to make my very last visit. Two checkstands open with lines down the isles and self check going back to be bakery. I would have saved a lot of time going further out of my way, and each trip here seems to be the same regardless of the time of day.

This Safeway is fast and courteous, they have a lot of stuff other places don't. They are a little pricey tho!

They have replaced name brands with Safeway Signature brand, and they have dropped many items that I have purchased for 40 years. I have to shop at multiple stores to get the items I use. The prices are pretty good, though.

Very good choice of products at this Safeway makes it a bit unique.

Good ice cream selection too with Aldens organic.

Only problem is that it's chronically understaffed with long waits at checkout.

Removed a star because they are ALWAYS UNDERSTAFFED

Good selection of merchandise, excellent produce department, clean store with a cool ambiance. You make your selection, THEN you wait 15 minutes to check out. Too long!

Heh what can else can be said if not best place to get your groceries. Also with a membersgip you can get really interesting deals

HIRE MORE CASHIERS! Another typical 20 minute wait in line — and a half hour isn’t uncommon. I never see more than two cashiers. Express line? Forget about it, there isn’t one. It was a reminder of why I avoid this store, even though it is clean and well stocked, with nice fresh produce — and the closest supermarket to my home. I drive to Benicia and go to the Raley’s, even though it isn’t particularly convenient.

Nice produce area. Nice Deli and specialty food area. Has everything I need. But the prices are creeping up. The sizes of food products are shrinking. That's not Safeway's fault. Most of the Personnel are very friendly and helpful.

It's a nice store but they truly need to work on how many checkers they have because the lines get too long

Getting worse and worse after the buyout. Expired organic produce, multiple stockouts. Wat up safeway?

The service assistance at the self check was rude. Asked a question and she ignored me.this is way l don't shop at the Safeway in Glencove
