26This store smells like rotting animal flesh. I had to hold my nose to keep from gagging. The smell is horrific!
Glencove safeway in Vallejo not good quality in boxed and packaging. Many items expired. Meat dept.counter is horrible, rarely can find someone to help. I seldom shop there anymore. Has gone down hill.
Service is getting so bad at this Safeway that I'm going to shop at another store. Service since you went non-union your help is not helping or friendly and your deli help makes you feel like you're bothering them and they want you to go now.
I like this Safeway because it has plenty cashiers and selfcheck out. Pricing is std Safeway. Parking lot is ok. Only thing I don't like is that the isles feels cramped.
We have shopped at this Safeway since 2011. It is the closet store to us, but unfortunately they understaff the store and the lines are frequently ridiculously long.
It is also annoying when they lock up certain items such as tooth whiteners because someone stole some at some point in time.
Hopefully they will staff the store more in the future.
Clean, friendly and usually has great deals. It's just really busy around 6'oclock during the week
