This store is growing. They were super helpful and gave me a price that made online shopping absolutely useless. I recommend all the staff

I’m Soooo happy that Samy’s moved a lot closer to me! Too bad I sold all my camera equipment and basically just relied on shooting with my iPhone. That still doesn’t stop me from giving props to one of the best camera stores where I learned a lot from! Their rental department has to be one of your first stops if you want to test out equipment first before you buy. Well known secret is to rent it on a Friday afternoon and you can return it the following Monday but still just pay for a daily rate. I hope this is still the case otherwise I just told you all old information. Oh well. Their other departments are stacked with very knowledgeable pros whether it’s studio equipment, pro gear and drone tech, and even film (that’s right real photogs still use film). It’s right across Lucky Baldwins Pub and the Wells Fargo bank so you can withdraw your cash, buy stuff at Samy’s then get a pint of beer all in the same block. Easy right? Now go spend your money!

Love this place as I’ve been coming here for years. The entire staff is fun and friendly and highly knowledgeable. They are a no hidden agenda type staff and won’t sell you what you don’t need. If anyone needs someone with a lot of knowledge and is friendly take ask if kenny is around and you won’t regret it

Samy’s Camera is amazing. Our salesperson, Jeff sold us our camera this summer. The Canon 6d Mark II. We love it. We went back in December and purchased the Canon Rebel T6i package for our daughter. Jeff was amazing both times. That says a lot to me about this establishment.

There’s a young lady that works in the film department that is extremely rude. She answered me with a firm no when she is not the manager. I will not be coming back because of her off putting attitude. I’m an avid customer and she has pushed me to not come back to the store.

Friendly knowledgeable staff. Prices are a tad high, but they have a great variety of products and offer classes as well.
