San Diego NB Commissary reviews
40Great selection and prices. Make sure you block out some time to visit here because it is pretty busy! Other than that the food they have available is immense and we haven't had any problems with the employees! They all seem very friendly and willing to help!
Lots of parking. Great selection of items. Prices are equal to the prices you would see at chain stores.
The Cashiers and Baggers are so awesome with their Customer Service…always smiling and greeting your day's events which is nice to relieved some of thw stress out. BZ!
My third trip and every time they are out of vanilla creamer by international delight, since it is a popular item they should feature it in one of the cooler doors
Best prices and deals! Free plastic bags or paper Brown bags for your groceries. Good prices in sea food and meats.
Selection was better b4 the yuppies took over. Shelves are not always full. You can wait as long as 3 months b4 some things come back. Meat and fish are cheaper and fresher at civilian markets.
Some items are no longer stocked on their shelves. According to customer service desk, those items are been replaced by cheaper product or deleted.
Prices on many items is higher than out in town. Deals are primarily on processed, non-nutritive "food". Selection meh. Overall I avoid shopping here when possible.
This is the largest commissary that I have ever shopped. Amazing selection of food and great prices!
Though it serves a relatively small community of sailors that is so close in proximity to the much larger commissary on 32nd street, these guys do a great job of keeping their shelves stocked. Not the best commisary ive been to. But great for such a small base.
Best commissary I've ever been to. Huge selection and the fruits and veggies are always super fresh. Don't waste your money elsewhere!
Went in and had awesome customer service, the staff helped us out alot when looking for an item. It does tend to get pretty busy.
Huge commissary with many varieties. Over 20 lanes to check out makes this commissary fairly easy and quick to get through also.
Disappointed cherries not in produce i find cherries at local small market elsewhere deals you can find
There is a lot of variety. The store is clean and it is easy to find someone to help you. However it is a little unorganized and there are a lot of people. That is to be expected from a military place. The lines were pretty short but the prices weren't great. Ok experience overall.
Some prices ok, others higher than civilian markets, but overall acceptable, in addition to the no tax charges.
This commissary is always clean and well stocked. The employees are friendly and helpful. Prices are reduced as to be expected from shopping on base.
Great Commisarry. Only thing I wish they had was the mini shopper carts for the kids. I think it's awesome that it's on its own base with the NEX. The hours are also nice, I can go during the week instead of just the weekend.
Not the best price like back in the day. Can easily get better deals by shopping the weekly ads, but you don't have to pay for bags and it's a one-stop shopping area for military and families.
