San Jose Improv Comedy Club reviews
28This venue is ok. The way the seating is arranged could be better. The food is decent for bar food.
Paul Rodriguez was great. Fantastic.downtown has really gotten live. Every restaurant and bar had lines 2 go in. I was at the Flames restaurant the next night. Food was great and everyone was friendly. I had 2 great nights.
Good show, drinks should have been stonger for 15 $ a pop but other wise great service and funny comedians
The two gentlemen that were on before the main star was amazing. She was crude and disgusting and I would never come back or go anywhere else to see her.she left such an impression I can't even remember her name
Went with my family.food was good drinks good and david spade was great.seating was a little tight but had a great time anyways.cant wait till next time
Norm McDonald was hilarious! The food was far better than I'd expected. And the server's were way on top of it.
Nice venue. Good acts. Tickets are inexpensive (check Groupon!). But food and drink prices higher than other places and two cover minimum per person.
Nice, clean, and awesome place to go for fun and enjoy your time with family but 18plus cause the jokes are vulgar and offensive but still funny as hell
There is usually a minimum of buying two items per person. Food/drinks are over priced. Those below average nachos were about $23.
Always a great experience at the San Jose Improv. I ate dinner there before the show, a burger, which was actually better than expected. Beautiful interior. There is table seating in the main floor (which is split level for better viewing) and there is an upstairs section with seats only. There is no dedicated parking but downtown has plenty nearby places to park.for fee. At times there is a line outside to get in even if you already have tickets. Sometimes this can be annoying if the weather is unpleasant.
Whitney Cummings was hilarious. The wait staff is real helpful and was pretty quick for how crazy it was in there. Get there early if you want a table down near the stage the line does gets long
Tiny venue in a hole in the wall. They force you to buy watered down drinks, which inflates the real ticket price for event. Food here is not good either.
The food, drinks, and staff were wonderful and the comedy show was hilarious! I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to have a good time in SJ. Just get there early, trust me.
Saw Greg Berhrendt and he was terrible. Both the MC and the opener were better than him. He was incoherent and constantly scratching himself like a heroin addict going thru withdrawals. $58 for two tickets, $55 for 3 drinks, $18 for parking. I feel robbed.
Good venue for standup. Decent food and drinks. Sat in the front row of the balcony; sightlines and sound were great.
Didn't have to wait in line long. Check Groupon for deals! When you arrive you are seated by someone and there's table service. Drinks are pretty pricey, but that's to be expected at a place like this.
Great comedians, had a wonderful time. Clean, food and drink service were quick and delivered by friendly staff. Easy to view stage with 4 and 2 top tables available.
Great comedians, rude hosts (man trying to give my seat away when I went to the restroom. Then was very rude). Food took forever. But overall a gem.
Great set-up, tasty food, fun atmosphere, and a beautiful theater. I definitely recommend going to a show here!
