San Jose Improv Comedy Club reviews
28 Can often get free tickets on EventBrite or discounted ones on Groupon. Look up the comedian on YouTube to see if you like their style. Free tickets come with a two item minimum (per person). I don't think that is strictly enforced.
Food and drink is pretty pricey. $6 for a soda. $7 to 10 for a bottle of beer. We got nachos for $13. They were pretty good, smallish portions, chips got soggy too fast.
Enjoyed the many diverse and funny comics. Knew to expect mandatory purchases, but would love to see the place renovated for better acoustics, seating and ambience. Our evening came to almost $80 after tix for two, 2 drinks, 2 waters, 1 appetizer and city parking.
I like the Improve comfy seats. Good venue. I went to the Jo Koy and it was nice. The staff is polite and they are very serious about keeping the place clean. Highly recommended.
Reasonable flat rate parking a few blocks walking distance, the venue was good and the food and drinks were reasonably priced.
Excellent comedian Chris Porter! We were the 1st ones in the door and since they weren't booked up in the VIP section they allowed us to sit front row VIP section which was very nice. The service was much better in VIP for sure. I was on a first date and our service experience and show experience was excellence.
We purchased four tickets through Groupon and when we arrived we were seated quick and moved closer as a sweet surprise. Our time enjoying the show was cut short by the couple behind us because the stupid girl wanted to " watch" the show as she cuddled. They complained I was making it hard for them to see when I turned around to eat out chicken tenders and fries.
It was great got to meet Brandon Rogers, bot a fan of having to order a meal, especially when I wasnt entirely prepared and hadn't had any cash on me
