Santa Barbara Airbus, Goleta CA

Now that I've experienced this, I would say this is the best way to travel back and forth to LAX. They were so timely, and took all the stress out of driving, as well as trying to find, someone willing to give a ride to the airport. I will choose SB Airbus again and again for my LAX commutes

Santa Barbara airbus is a good alternative to the awful and unpredictable drive between Santa Barbara and LA, BUT-there's a lot of local knowledge that makes it work; their customer service is getting worse by the day.
First, allow 4 hours to get from LA to SBA at any time. Fires, accidents, all day rush hours mean it might take 1 1/2, but more likely will take a lot more, time. Second, the pick up STARTS at the time given. It takes a lot of time to get between terminals, load and unload. If you're at terminal 4, for example, it will appear to be half an hour to an hour late. Frequent users know to bring a book, stand and read while waiting. And finally, you can always call the office, or, apparently, use some kind of tracker to find out where the bus is.

It is helpful, and reasonable price to get you to the airport.on time, and that is what I liked about it

What did I love about this place? The PEOPLE! The SERVICE! The PRODUCT, and the PRICE! Stellar. Everything STELLAR. I could gush, but just trust me on this: the vacation STARTS right HERE!

The busses are outdated and the ride quality is poor.
The bus drivers (that have driven us on many trips over the years) behavior is unacceptable. They act self involved and arrogant, and generally have no idea how to calmly instruct passengers to board the bus without getting frustrated. I have witnessed (on many occasions) drivers act belligerently to the many international customers that are just trying to get to the airport safely. I know being a bus driver is a stressful job. But this is not acceptable. I have also witnessed drivers yell at other cars once st LAX (its unprofessional) and indiscriminately drive aggressively while complaining to passengers about how bad their job is. I have used SB airbus for ten years as a last resort to get to LAX and it has always been unnecessarily stressful. Yes we eventually get to LAX. If this was a one time negative experience I would never leave a review. I have read the positive reviews in disillusionment. Either they are fake or I just have bad luck (twenty plus trips). This would not be acceptable even on Boltbus or Greyhound.
After experiencing the same issues riding the airbus I have to believe the positive reviews are fake. I never usually leave a review but this was the last straw.

Convenience is the number one reason. I've used this service several times now and I've not been disappointed. Buses are clean and comfortable. Great way to get to LAX without the traffic hassle.

Convenient, efficient and friendly. Also very easy to change your pick up time if your flight gets delayed.

Best shuttle service from Santa Barbara to Los Angeles available here. Very good service and reasonable price. The best of all was the driver, who was very entertaining and helpful.

I fly from LAX frequently, and the Airbus is much cheaper, easier and faster than taking a short flight to Santa Barbara. There are three drop-off points that make it easy to get home or get picked up. The staff is friendly and helpful and the buses are clean and new-ish.

After picking up all passengers, we all sat in the bus for 1 hour in a LAX parking lot.

Airbus, if you're not organized enough to have a driver AND a ticket-taker, can't you just let the driver do his job and drive.instead of having all of us sit on the bus while the bus driver stops to take tickets?

Used SB airbus all four years of undergrad, always reliable service. Best way to get from SB to LAX. They were a godsend during the wildfires last year.

Really good bus service, have used the Airbus a few times now. Not the cheapest but comfy coaches, helpful staff, and super convenient. They're OK with changing to earlier/later buses if your flight arrival time changes.

Fantastic bus service between Goleta/Santa Barbara/Carpinteria and LAX. The bus itself is clean, equipped with seat belts, and free WiFi (it wasn't working on this trip, though). The total travel time for a 5: 30am departure from Goleta to LAX Terminal 7 was around two and a half hours.

If you're departing from Goleta, they have a bus depot where you wait for your ride. Coffee and granola bars can be purchased. All in all, great airport service to a rather chaotic airport!

What a stupid company! Waited for bus for 45 min. Called and was told bus was one stop away. Ten minutes later call again and the bus passed me by, Really! They have my cell number, they know my name and what time they are supposed to get me. Left me stranded at LAX trying to get to Santa Barbara two days before christmas. Dont take a chance w these ppl.

The best way to get to LAX from Santa Barbara or Carp.without having to worry about traffic, road closures, weather. They know all the back roads when necessary. Comfortable bus with wifi, beverages, restroom. Friendly, knowledgeable drivers. They are equally good for picking you up at LAX and will make every effort to track your flight. Reservations recommended for this reason.

It's pretty cheap considering this transportation versus gas for the trip, the service is great from the driver, and instead of dealing with traffic you can take an uncomfortable nap.

The service is excellent! Mr. Driver helps me a lot! However, the bus is not very comfortable for big and tall guys. But it wont take long for this bus to take you from lax to sb.

All of the convenience and it removes your interaction with the brutal LA traffic. This is a wonderful service for Santa Barbara area residents!
