Sequoia Park Zoo reviews
39This was a great birthday experience for my grandson! It wasn't too busy to actually enjoy the whole park. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only downside is they aren't finished adding all of the new areas yet!
Amazing. I've been to this park many times and it is as impressive each time. The trees are indescribably amazing. The fact that they are right in town is shocking and every visit will move you.
Had so much fun here during a pit stop! Great place to run around and stretch our legs. Our 2 Year Old was thrilled:) Only $10 for admission- really cute little zoo park!
Great place to go and if you have an EBT card, you can get in for $2. Up to 5 people with the EBT card. I got my while family in for $8. It was cheaper than just the regular adult admission of $10. We had a blast. Great place.
First Wednesday is half off, so it was 5 bucks. Not a big zoo. Done in less than hr but clean, and some nice animals.
Nice little zoo. A few animals and birds. We will totally come back so soon as they finish the canopy walk. That will be an awesome addition to the park
Great small zoo, has plenty of animals to keep busy for a while, but doesn't have some of the larger animals and exhibits a larger city might have.
Sequoia Park Zoo is the first Zoo in the state of California! The Zoo has red panda's, bald egales, otters, and other fun animals to look at. The Zoo has a petting zoo to check out the goats, chickens, and pigs. I always have a good time going here. Great for the kids.
I'm not zoo material so I've never been inside - buuuuut the forest on the outskirts in the middle of the only city for a bijillion miles is truly breathtaking.
Coming from LA, this so is definitely DEFINITELY smaller. But it's a charming place to visit that fully acknowledges their evolution as a park. The red Panda and bald eagles are great, and go visit Elvis the African Parrot in the aviary!
Awesome otter enclosure with tunnel feature. Interactive water stream area for the little ones to splash in on a nice day. Farm area with petting zoo, goats and stuff. Really fun, love it.
Toddler zoo. I wouldn't bring older kids. It's very small: petting goats, a few birds in an aviary, and a little water area. There's a few other animals, of which none are too infusing except the monkies- they put on a good show at feeding time. Normal other amenities like a cafe (serving foods like french fries, hot dogs, and ice cream), bathrooms, and a gift shop.
I had a great visit with the fascinating and well-cared-for animals at the zoo. Looking forward to visiting again.
A great little zoo. Nice animal enclosures.
Not too crowded on the weekday.
Easy parking. Also a nice park next door.
Family and I love going to the Zoo! We even have a membership, that should tell you how much we love this Zoo! Definitely go here it you love animals and want a good walk.
Very cute little zoo. Small, but spent about an hour and a half here with my daughter. She loved it!
Clean cute zoo for younger kids. Not a whole lot of "exotic animals" pretty much barn animals but cute either way. They do have some red pandas, monkeys and wild dogs.a few other special critters. Worth the trip. Is a little spendy though.
This was the coolest place. It wasn't very big, but it was by far one of the neatest animal parks/zoo's, reserves, etc that I have visited. As soon as we went in we saw some howler monkeys, are they were awesome. I stayed at the monkey cage for probably half an hour or longer and came back to them before I left for the day. They had several other unique and interesting creatures. I would definitly go there again to see what new or different they may have gotten.
Yes, this Zoo is small. However.they have done excellent with what they have. Please bring your children or grandchildren. There is much for them to learn here. Many displays are available and designed for young minds to learn about the animals as well as the environment. This Zoo is clean and the staff is both helpful and friendly.
