I highly recommend camping near the Meditation Pool. Around 11pm, bats start swooping down and cleaning up the dead insects from the surface of the water, and it's a hell of a lot of fun.

I had heard about this place for years and was not impressed when I arrived. I don’t mind funky places as long as they are clean and welcoming. This place was neither. The camping area was even worse and I wouldn’t recommend it at all unless you pitched a tent or hammock in the trees and didn’t mind primitive camping with no privacy. I felt it was way too expensive for what was offered.
