23I shop at the Smart & Final Extra on Manzanita and Engel their produce department is awesome great quality great prices, they have all the basic in store items and the best roasted chickens anywhere! Prices are much lower than competitors down the street selections are somewhat limited but good. I don't have a lot of experience with purchasing from their meat department have only tried a few things but they were good also.
U can find all grocery need, some times they have stuff that other stores dont have, i love their roasted chicken, good selection of drinks, and for the restaurant owner they can find bulk grocery like of tomatoes sacks of onions.
The only think i don't like is the WAIT! On the line to pay.
Below average service. Facilities are Spartan, but prices are great. They need a bakery and more checkers.
