Suruki Supermarket, San Mateo CA

Why I rate this store low they sale stuff from the dollar store and charge 10 times the amount. Don't get ripped off. Drinks are the only reasonable price items.

Well stocked, well priced Japanese market. Super friendly staff and delicious prepared foods made daily. To me nothing can top Mitsuwa, but Suruki has definitely become a weekly stop. Fantastic!

If you’re planning to have a dinner party you can always call and have them put it on hold. Staff is so nice there. Love them!

One of an original Japanese Supermarkets in San Mateo with great selection of Japanese products with fresh seafood and vegetables. There is a small restaurant on top of the market serving delicious Japanese food.

Love the selection of sashimi from here. I'd recommend going to the back and get your sashimi sliced instead of getting the presliced stuff. They also have good variety of uni also

Fresh fish for sashimi, good prepared foods, not a large store, but you can out together a nice meal with the available options. There is a large parking structure nearby.

Great Japanese market that carries high quality meats and produce. They also stock bakery items and great drinks.

Employees very helpful and friendly. Good selection of Japanese cooking and food products. The fish for sushi/sashimi is very fresh.

Great Japanese foodies, sushi, ramen, undo & other seafood. I stopped to go Japanese restaurants after I discovered this place. It had all material at much lower cost.
