Tahoe Valley Campground reviews
28Very beautiful setting in a forest. It was very crowded during holidays however, which is understandable. I'd go again when there's less people around to enjoy the nature.
Noisy. Curfews ignored. People fresk out over the occasional bear sitting. Facilities are worn down. Sites are ok, but crammed together. The hamster wheel is great. Pool is, um, "well used".
Nice they offer breakfast and dinner for $$ pool with a lock great nightly entertainment and have a little store!
This is a great place! Pool, tennis or volleyball sort of court, and all the amenities. We really had an enjoyable time while we were here. I think the best thing about it for US city Folk is that it's camping but still there's people around you and it makes you feel like you're not alone. Even though we had bears come into the campgrounds, the facility tries very hard to keep them out or at least satisfied away from the campers.
Sardines, packed in. Getting to know you, getting to know ALL about you. Your neighbors, so close you can share everything.
We travel 4-6 months in our motorhome each year. Check-in was the worst I've experienced. No customer service! Spots are very small and close together. Ground is dirt, covered in wood chips. Be aware.wifi is not free. Not worth the price. We would not stay here again or recommend this place.

Lake Tahoe area was really busy, probably due to the Yosemite being evacuated due to fires.
A slick, professionally ran and large site. Very good facilities which were clean and the people were friendly.
I would love to return when the area was a bit calmer.
We stayed two nights with our rental RV. Everything was good: staff was very nice, our spot was nice and big, security was constantly checking at night so it was quiet until morning.
