The Home Depot reviews
39Customer service is so BAD IN THE STORE you ask someone to help you and all THEY SAY is ill call someone.to bad there's no lowes.com in this area
Found most of what I was looking for. Pretty dismal shortage of paint respirators (not the mask) and cartridges though. Sign of the times I guess.
I don't need to say, that so many people are improving their homes right now so it is kind of wild but manageable)
The worst dirty location with horrible service. Employees are very rude with attitude "ask someone else". Don't waste your time here, better just go to the Emeryville store
My boyfriend and I have shopped here at least 6 times in the past 2 weeks. If we could find somewhere else, we would. Security guards seem to be racist, as they only check my reciept when my boyfriend is with me (I am white, he is black) and the unnecessary police force makes both of us uncomfortable. He is epileptic and we have both wondered why it is necessary for the officers to patrol the parking lot with their emergency lights flashing, it's really a hazard. I get that you like the extra security, but the flashing lights seems really over the top, especially when there never seems to be an emergency.
The paint department was the worst EVER! I actually think the guy working the desk purposely took his sweet time getting everyone's paint because he hates his job! 3 of us were waiting for his lazy butt to get out paint out of the shaking machine but he left to get 3 tiny cans off the shelf. He wasn't even getting them for anyone. Luckily the cashier was amazing!
Worst service Ever! Will never go back! Waited 30minutes for some service help with purchasing a new flood light, staff was very rude! If you want fast friendly service Don't go here!
What you would expect from a big box store. Difficult to find help so I use my phone and their website to help locate needed items.
Nice place to have items for your home from A to Z. Closer to our home in Oakland. Affordable price. What Else you want? Enjoy buying
Absolutely worst Home Depot location in the bay area. Every employee has friends and family visiting them while working, and nobody is interested in helping customers. The windows and doors woman, along with most all other departments, will leave you on hold for 20 minutes and then hang up. Avoid going here for any reason.
None of the stores associates knew what they were doing. Shopping here is a grueling and painful experience to be avoided at all costs.
This is one of the worst Home depot's you can go to, as you driving in there's hundreds of day workers trying to bother you, once you get inside the experience is no better, I asked an employee who was working in the aisle do they know where mailboxes might be, they said they had no idea I walked up 30 feet and found them myself, horrible customer service!
Got most of the basics just pretty horrible wood stock (like all HD's) in my experience thus far just not any other options that I'm aware of in the El ceritto area.
Very good experience. The staff members I worked with were very helpful and helped me find what I needed quickly. And as big and confusing home depot is that's quite a feat. The two in the garden area were cheerful, pleasant, and ready to help. A rare occurrence in retail during the holidays. I wish I had gotten their names. They deserve reconition.
Service was slow not to helpful is like nobody has a answerd. And they even know where is stuff located
This is the rough-and-ready Home Depot. The feel is "contractor friendly". The staff are quick to get you the help or items you need, because most of the patrons are going back out to a jobsite to get their project done. I go here when I'm doing home projects and it's my third trip back because I need one more plumbing part. Boom, in, out, done.
Its good ayore to shop but it is difficult to find associate to help you find something because it is very big store.
Helpful and quick staff. Very busy though. But thats a good thing for them. My name is Lee and I love my wife
Always disorganized. Needed to cut a full sheet of ply so I could fit it in my car, but the only 2 cutting stations were out of order. Sad customer service.
I like coming here. They are always helpful. I call myself Mrs. Fix it. So this place is right up my alley.
