It was a lot of work to finally be able to apply and interview but everyone at HACLA was extremely helpful and respectful. My advice: make sure you have a great case worker/housing Specialist OUTSIDE the Housing Authority (a third party non profit) they will guide you and do a lot of the dirty work and make sure to application is correct and accepted.
In order to get a good QUALITY service, you must be "BLACK" or a MEXICAN.
Other then that, don't waste your time.
