Awesome hotel from valet parking to check-in to check-out. They really know how to treat their guests. I would have to say it’s the best hotel near the LAX area. The view of the marina is breathtaking, room service is on-point. We ordered room service for breakfast and they set it up for us on the balcony for us, they reallly take the extra time to make you feel special. Our bed was super comfy which is really important to us. Highly recommend if you are just staying over in LA and want to be close to LAX.

Met friends at Cast and Plow at The Ritz for a fixed menu dinner. Not a lot of options for friends who were vegetarian or had food allergies. Staff was attentive but food was unremarkable. Every entre choice came with the same uninspired buttery mashed potatoes, corn (really, chef!? !), and beans. Our view of the marina underwhelmed as well. I'd say this was an acceptable place to eat if you don't want to venture from the hotel, but if you want a good meal, branch out elsewhere. For this kind of money a short cab ride would bring you to dozens of far superior restaurants. L. A.has amazing dining opportunities; this is not worth it.

The hotel itself is nice, though by no means do the rooms compare to other ritz carltons around the world. The room views are generally disappointing.however the restaurant has the most beautiful view of the marina. The food is delicious. More importantly the hotel staff is incredibly helpful, friendly and accommodating.

Valet parking is something like 50/night. However, across the street is a parking lot that costs $6 for 24 hrs. Very worth the quick walk.

Overall I do recommend this place to family in friends visiting LA
