Turner's Outdoorsman-Norwalk reviews
36A place where they expect you to know what you want, seem perturbed when asking questions about there products, not enough employees to handle the customers, i wouldn't go back and seems like they don't care if I didn't. I won't give my money to this type of establishment.
Cool spot they take long to help but they give u good info.so what I'm saying they take time to help u out
They need to expand more, yes they have some good prices an good deals.whenever I'm in the area i like to stop by check out the specials.
Today 3/9/18 I called the Turners to ask it the had a part, they told me they didn't have the item. Later this afternoon I decided to go there anyways to see if they had primers. They didn't have the primers I needed and but tiried to sell me the wrong kind of primers. As I was leaving I noticed the item I had called about earlier today, I notified them that I called about this item earlier and was told it was out of stock. I left the store with nothing, I decided to go to buy all the needed items from Ammo Brothers, where they have a more knowledgeable staff.
So I was treated with great service by salesman Bryan H. He was very patient with me never rude, I recommend this location.
I came in to replace a defective fishing rod and Neil in the tackle department over looked it and was very helpful and replaced the rod no questions asked, Five Stars! Thank you Turners of Norwalk.
Usually busy, great selection of firearms, good selection of gear such as AR parts, magazines etc. I usually won't shop here unless there is a sale, even then last resort because no other shop has what I'm looking for, or I want to see it in person before I buy it online for example. Most of the staff is outstanding, although a few I have had a bad experience with. Overall not a bad place but not the best. I recently went in look for a particular holster they carry, SpetzGear of which I have purchased twice. I wanted another one that they didn't have in regular stock and was willing to pay even additional cost for a special order. The individual helping me seemed hesitant to make the order and told me to order it from the manufacturer directly. Understandably it was a few minutes from closing, but if a customer is willing to give you business, you shouldn't go the easier route for you and turn him away.
I been coming to this store for years, however, this time I called to inquire in a specific firearm, and the last male employee who answered the phone was rude, please train the employees a bit more on public relations, thank you!
Ive had good experiences with great service, however recently ive shown up and nobody gave any assistance at all.its a hit or miss with this place.
I purchased two handguns today, a Smith & Wesson M&P Shield and an Accu- Tek. 380. The Customer Service that some of these guys give at Turner's SUCKS! My visit started out ok. The Employee who originally started helping me was pretty ok. He didn't have any problems with answering my questions and showed me whatever I asked to see. Then, the whole thing went South. The guy who started to help me was called to do Something else, so he asked another employee (I won't even call him a gentleman because he was a total DICK)! His name was Mike Camarillo. He was very short with me and acted like he didn't want to answer any questions I had and messed up my paperwork because of his attitude. If I hadn't double checked behind him, I would have purchased the wrong Caliber handgun. I felt he was treating me some type of way because I am a female. My money is just as good as anyone else's. I had a good notion to walk out but didn't because my prior visit to this location was actually pretty good. Ladies please beware of this guy. I don't know if his issue was the fact that I am a Female or if it has something to do with the Melanin in my skin!
Good place to go for your sportsman needs. Pricy though. Guns especially expensive and not much choice.
Good gun store, the people very nice and what ever information you guns or weapons they will answer.
Customer service is not their thing. Come with patience and know your stuff, because they don't.
They have great options for fishing and weapons.it's popular so always a little crowded but staff is great.
Fast and RELIABLE service when you have the aquired information to obtain your firearm the moment you step in and the 10 days after!
