I used U-Pack Relo-Cubes for a move from CA to MO. The process went as planned. I ordered 5 Relo-cubes but only used 4. Not a problem! Pick up and delivery on both ends of the trip was easy. I highly recommend this company.

U-Pack relo cubes were perfect for us. We moved two Vespas in them and no other company was willing to let us do that. At every step of the way their customer service and drivers were amazing. I went with U-Pack after signing up with US Pro Moving and Logistics which is a shady broker that I would steer clear of. U-Pack saved us thousands of dollars.

We just used U-Pack for our move from Bay Area (CA) to Austin, Texas. After quoting with hundreds of moving companies, I'm glad we decided to go with U-Pack. The transit time was less than a week, and everything got here as planned.

Old hag up front had an attitude, If I was that unhappy with my life I would probably act the same way.

You can order pick up and delivery by text. They did what they said they would do. Far cheaper than a POD ($1300) for the price and charged by the foot so if you have more items this is the way to go. There is no perfect system for a long distance move. There was some tiny water leakage in the trailer but no damage, get a tarp (s) if you're concerned. Also plan on spending $300 on tie downs and quality blankets by the bale from Harbor Freight. Be aware if you're doing an out of state move and they quote you 7 - 10 days that you better not schedule movers until the 10 days or the full time is up - you'll end up paying extra hotel fees, if you think the trailer will arrive early - don't, until they text you- not much to be said, you can try the dispatcher for a status. Do not even consider an early arrival for an interstate move, they add freight to the rest of the trailer. PODs is no faster. Stay at a friend's house for the duration. Lastly, get a quality mover in your area to both pack and load and unload, don't even remotely consider doing this yourself. CA to TX - $4,100 and full 10 days time, + $1500 to pack and load, I provided most of my own boxes - get a quality TV box, $500 to unload (sell your blankets at a discount to the destination mover, mine gave me 50% of the cost, thrown in the wardrobe boxes for free.) Total cost roughly $6,400 including blankets and everything. Considering I save about $34,000 a year in costs from one state to another, I consider it the cost of doing business like a home refi. Personally I don't think there's anything better out there than U-Pack, a dedicated move costs 3 times as much.

I moved from California to Austin and was anxious about how the relocube thing would work, but it was totally seamless! I highly recommend U-Pack, everyone I dealt with from the local distribution centers to the drivers who dropped off/picked up were all really nice and helpful. Overall a great experience!

Upack customer service was great to work with. You can call them almost any time, they answer every question you might have, walk you thru the process, help make recommendations on what shipping size to go with etc. BUT working with the local dispatch and shipping team is not so great. The third party vendor is not nearly as helpful. I had long wait times over the phone and was told my trailer would arrive between 8am - 12pm, but it didn't arrive until 2pm and no one gave me an update. I had to be the one to call and keep checking in. Wish that portion of the experience was better.

Everyone at U-Pack were very professional, Robin the driver was right on time and placed the cubes exactly where we needed them, then returned and picked them up when requested and took them to the terminal to storage until we purchase our new house out of state.

U-Pack did great. They delivered the trailer on time at both ends of the move and were able to put it exactly where we wanted it. The price was good and they were very easy to work with. Our driver Charlie out of Oakland was cheerful and very helpful. The drivers in Colorado were good, too. They paid someone overtime to deliver a ramp for us so we would have it in plenty of time since our trailer was too full for one to be inside. We got a quote in February, and in spite of three date changes, they kept the price for our move in May.

Got my relocation cube and everything in it was soaking wet and moldy. Cube must have had a leak in it or something when it was traveling but thousands of dollars worth of stuff was ruined and U-pack did not replace and offered only a few hundred dollars, not even a refund. Even that process took 2 months. I can not stress enough how much I would recommend against using U-pack.

This is my third time moving across the country, and I only trust one company to do it hassle-free. After three moves with U-Pack, I can honestly say I have never had a single issue. Loading the relocubes we're always a convenient task. They are always delivered quickly and efficiently. And with the my move dashboard, I was able to see where my cubes were the entire time. Very highly recommend U-Pack for any type of moving. Thank you to everyone involved.

Thank you U-Pack for your reasonable prices and great service! I opted for the trailer which was a bit cheaper than the shipping cubes. Everything went without a hitch. The container was delivered, transported and picked up as promised. There was great communication on-line and via text messages. The only difficulty I had was with the panels - or bulkheads - which you must put in place to secure your load. Be sure to read the instructions ahead of time. They were sent to me early on but I didn't take the time to read through it. Also, they are heavy and clumsy and likely require 2 people to install. There is no question that I will use U-Pack again.

U-pack is very professional. They don't try to pressure you to sign up with them. A live human always answers the phone. And every single person who answers the phone has the ability to tell you the status of your move, when an where the trailer will be picked up and delivered etc. I would use them again whenever I need to move stuff. In case you are wondering, yes, this is a big freaking moving van trailer they park in your driveway. Very convenient to load.

This was my, third move with upack and really relied on their service and support. Every aspect was excellent. The truck was clean and secure. The pickup and delivery were totally dependable and reasonable. Communicating with personnel was easy, quick and was always informative and effective. I would do this again but at age 70, I hope not to make another long-distance move. Thank you ABF.

U-Pack was convenient and a good value for the price. I can't give them 5 stars because they picked up my loaded truck 3 days late, and water leaked into the truck during the move soaking several of my boxes. But despite the delayed pickup they still delivered my stuff within the 3-5 day quoted window and were right on time with the two truck deliveries, so I would move with them again and recommend them.

U-Pack made our 600 mile move much less stressful. We felt the value was great. They make every step straightforward and easy to manage. Everything was as promised, no surprise costs or fees at the end. Helpful and courteous customer service. Highly recommended as a more budget friendly alternative to full service moving companies.

The pod was picked up and delivered on time. UPack is by far the best pod delivery service out there.

Moved from Sebastopol, CA to Austin, TX. We are a couple moving what amounts to a studio/1 bedroom apartment worth of stuff - 1 queen bed, four seat dining room table, 5 small chairs, about 25 medium to large boxes, two bikes and a few other odds and ends. We reserved one cube and loaded it ourselves at the Oakland station. Everyone at the loading station was friendly and helpful. We rented a uHaul, drove to the Oakland loading station and were directed to our cube. They have a bunch of cubes at the end of and uncovered lot and you just back up and load it your self. I would not recommend doing this in the rain!

Having worked in shipping and receiving, I have seen many seemingly sturdy loads ship, only to be destroyed in transit. Keep in mind the cube will be loaded onto a truck with a forklift that will tilt the cube back at an angle. Everything inside will shift to some extent. Then it will transported in traffic, on poorly maintained U. S.roads, to its destination. Everything inside the cube with be dumped and jostled around, probably a lot.

Knowing this, we strapped our bed and table to the side walls and filled the whole bottom with our largest, sturdiest boxes. Then moved up with lighter/less full boxes. Then put our bikes and random stuff on top and tried to wrap loose items in moving blankets. (I would not recommend having any loose items, some of our stuff got scratched because it was not wrapped in anything protective at all) Make sure to bring a pad lock to lock up the cube.

We loaded our cube on a Monday and it arrived in Austin the following Monday and we unloaded it on Tuesday. The Austin uPack station was just like the one in Oakland. Went into the front office and they directed us to our cube, pulled the uHaul around and loaded it up.

We had almost nothing get damaged in transit, only some scratches on exposed furniture and two broken glasses. It is very important to understand that they way the cube is loaded determines how well it handles the road, loading and offloading. If we do this again we will pack everything tighter and make sure we wrap everything a little better.

The total cost was $2002, plus the uhaul at both ends. That is that same as the price we were quoted even though we picked up a day after it arrived. Overall, this was a very pleasant experience that I would recommend to anyone doing a cross country move with a small amount of furniture.

I recently moved my belongings from a 5’x10’ storage unit in California all the way across the country to my new home in Virginia. A single “relo-cube” was just large enough to hold everything. I shopped around and was able to get a much better price from U-Pack than from the competing services with better-known names. To save even more money, I chose the option of loading the cube at the ABF trucking terminal in Oakland, and unloading it at the ABF terminal in Chesapeake. The company made it very easy for me to do so. Everyone I dealt with was quite friendly and accommodating. I loaded my relo-cube over a period of two days (Friday and Monday), and unloaded in a single day a week later (Tuesday). Note that the trucking terminals are not open on Saturday and Sunday, so if you choose this option, plan to do the loading and unloading on weekdays. In summary, I was quite pleased with U-Pack, and I would highly recommend them.
