When people send stuff to me via ups it will go through this sylmar center. If the package was an overnight one and the delivery guy cannot make it to my house in time he will mark the package as "Delivery Attempted" in an effort to get an extra day to deliver it and not get in trouble. This has happened 4 or 5 times now.

The reality is that he does not attempt delivery, I know this for a fact. We live in a numbered apartment complex, so it cant be hard to find my mailbox unless you didnt know where the HUNDREDS of residents all collectively live which would make for a preetty bad delivery guy. We have had hundreds of packages delivered in a timely fashion so there is nothing weird or different about my address. When the packages do arrive a day late, I always check the address to ensure it was written correctly (they always are correct)

I have sat by the door refreshing my phone screen for hours to see if it would arrived and litterally watched the status change in front of my eyes from "out for delivery" to "delivery attempted" while litterally sitting outside my door waiting. He never showed, no note, no delivery attempt, no package. Keep in mind he isnt supposed to use our door but the mail room.so sitting there was just an extra precaution I took to get my package if he chose to bring it to my room which they sometimes do to leave a note.

Another reason I suspect the problem is with the driver is that this only happens when we do overnight shippments, regular ones come just fine, sop its not like he doesnt know where I live. But he is lazy and 4 or 5 times now he doesnt want to deal with the overnight package so he just marks it as "delivery attempted" and there is nothing I can do. Complete bullcrap, they have no problem finding my mailbox when its not a priority packkage, LAZY DRIVER!

I told the mail clerk twice I wanted next day delivery on my package and he ignored me and set it for normal ground delivery (7 days)! My contents are going to spoil!

Not understanding why a former employee from 20 yrs prior, with no work related issues, can't get rehired to deliver pkgs when unemployed

Everyone can deliver packages to my new community but them. Fedex, amazon, usps, everyone delivers even though its a new community but they will just keep delaying it.

If you get the option, DONT USE UPS
They allowed as the driver said “some kid” to receive a package when it clearly said Adult signature required, Why give it to “some KID” when it said ADULT sig? Now im missing a designer belt and the investigation they started is going nowhere because they refuse to accept camera footage and more proof that i didnt receive or sign for my own package and its gone because of the drivers fault.

I’ve had 3 packages “lost” in the last 3 months coming from the Sylmar location. I don’t know what the issue is at this facility but it’s odd that I’ve had no other issues with any other UPS location. If I could avoid having my shipments come through this location I would. It’s extremely frustrating.

I came here to return a package and I needed to print a label. Sadly, this branch is only a customer center. I was told I have to go to an actual UPS store.

I had to recieve a package today ups did an attempt to deliver at 1: 10 pm I was not in. Asa to if I decided to go pick it up I made the change at 2: 44 pm I went to this branch of ups told me the counter that returned at 8pm that was when the truck driver went back and delivered the packages to them (Vasquez) the driver returned at 8: 03 pm and Vasquez went home and did not deliver the package to anyone they searched for an hour in the truck and here I am without my package thanks to Vasquez

This location is completely shady. They say stuff is being delivered then say they forgot it at the distribution center even though tracking says it is out for delivery. The supervisor is completely unprofessional.

Great group of people working inside, however, THIS IS NOT A UPS STORE! If you have a label on your box you can totally go there, but they can’t print labels as they are pretty much a hub.

Great experience, hard workers and my respect for some of the guys. I learned to leave behind what makes us feel uncomfortable even though there's money involved. Good guys who work super hard here. The guys with management positions were insensitive and rude. Women are looked as unnecessary. Mr. De la Cruz is the only man who truly cares about new employees. 5 stars from me to him.

This place, and crew are the best!

UPS is my preferred shipper you get better service and performance for the money than FedEx and let's not even talk about USPS!

I just had the worst experience here at this Hub. First all my packages that I have order in the past has never been deliver. So today I come to pick up my package. I am currently pregnant and I ask the customer service guy if he could help me take the package to my truck and he said no! So rude! Thank God there was a gentlemen inside waiting with me and he help me.

Unreliable and lazy. I sit by my window waiting for them and they speed by without checking the address and they reschedule my shipment. I honestly am fed up with UPS service. I dread the times UPS is used for my packages.

Ppl not very helpful here from what I understand. All or most of the customers on Arroyo take their pkgs to ups van Nuys. I worked at the van Nuys front counter.

I hate to even give this star.from customer service to dumb ass drivers. Who sits at a locked gate for 2 days straight and not tries to even get in? I gave them a call yesterday and was expected a call back, to which I never received and today the very same thing happens. I ask to speak to a supervisor and was basically denied. I am waiting for a call back to pick up the package can't wait to give them a piece of mind.

Ideally you want to print your own label and schedule a pick up. Its like 6 or 7 bucks pick up charge. If you have to go out to ship your package this is the best place. Open til 6. Plenty of parking. Nice staff.
