Orientation is disorganized, nobody knows anything, overheard dispatchers being disrespectful to drivers on the phone, trucks run down, facilities in Fontana are a joke! Don't drive for them, I also heard they don't give very many miles to drivers.

Been here one year 6 months probably stick around till my 3yrs got a good DM (mikeArias) keeps me rolling, did solo then dedicated route now im training.

Always have loads ready for me. Driver manager mike is a great driver manager. Love the company and everything that they have done for me. The training was awesome. Answered every question I had and helped when ever I asked.

If you want to sit out every weekend at a truck stop and not make money, then this is the place to work for.

If you are looking for a great starter company, and new to the game and want to get great experience I encourage you to check this company out There are a lot of good driver Managers there but the one that sticks out the best is my current dm Marcus Ford, he is great dude he gives u the miles, experience all across the board. He is a great problem solver, and calm cool and collect in disstress situations. He’s all around the best dm to have.

Stuck in traffic on the 15 South between Victorville and San Bernadino, right now, and your driver passed people on the shoulder and continued South. You need to hire safer drivers! The one's you have are the most unsafe I have ever seen. A big rig should not be passing anyone on the shoulder.

I've been a driver here since July 2018 and now I'm a trainer. This is a great company to work for and a great place for new drivers to get their experience up. Come drive through siskiyou mountains and tell me you shouldn't be paying for that opportunity. My DM Marcus is awesome and we have great communication, I've never had any issues here.

Western Express is a great startup company, it's gives new drivers a place to start their career with know experience. Western has good benefits, medical, vision, and dential. Pay is ok for know experience, sliding scale for miles. I am trainer at Western Express and I have forfilled my need"s and enjoyed my time with the company.

This is in response to a review from hotcha cha 3 weeks ago. Let me start by saying this is NOT a fake review, no one asked me to write it nor am I being paid to. Now, I am a female flatbed trainer my terminal is based out of Nashville TN. I have been with Western for a year and a half. I have had little dealings with the Bloomington terminal but on the occasions I have, I have been treated with respect and kindness. Yes this is a second chance company also one that hires drivers straight out of school. So appreciative for this as I’m sure many others are as well. An individual who feels people do not deserve second chances is one without compassion and for that I pity you. As a solo driver I netted over a 1000 a week as a trainer about 1400-1600,500 a week is paid to the driver of ANY company that is lazy and doesn’t run! My current Dm Brock Swoape is so kind, compassionate and understanding he does whatever he can to get me miles and home. My previous DM and current DMs team leader Martin Thompson was exactally the same. I love these guys. If you Hotcha cha previously worked for Western and only made 500 a week maybe your career choice is the wrong one. Funny how the ones who speak down on western and leave always end up returning! The grass is not always greener on the other side!

Western Express is a great company to work for. My DM, Joel Orrante is awsome we have a great working relationship. He keeps me running anytime I have an issue I can count on him. My equipment is top of the line. I highly recommend this company!

Over all impression of western express is satisfactory.
Jr. Keeps me busy and running most of the time.
I would like to see longer runs if possible.
Most of the time when I have issues with my truck it is handled quickly and customer service does a good job at handling the off road guys.
I would like to see more home time between students or at least off time.

Western express is a good company to start and get your experience if your new in the trucking industry. Western express shares the knowledge you need to know when your on the road by yourself or with a team mate. I’ve been with western express for 4 months and I have learned a lot from this company. Can’t forget about my DM Marcuz Ford the best in the west. He’s the best dm hands down no other dm can top him. He’s always on top of things and on his A game always on point and likes to get things done at a efficient manner. Thanks to my DM! Western express has top notch quality trucks brandnew equipment always gotta say that they have some of the best trucks out on the road. This company is a great start to gain your experience and make money?

Michael Arias is a great D. M. He is very courteous and willing to help you anyway possible. He explains everything to you in a way you could understand it.if you got a problem he will try to help.

The shop is extremely slow and will have you down for three days over a tire replacement. The terminal manager nick refuses to help and could care less. Avoid this terminal at all costs.

It's a good company but I wish they'd have better trucks and there phone services was a lot easier to get through like Road Maintenan it takes for ever also I think that we should have 24hr dispatch in the Bloomington, ca yard

There are 3 types of people that work here convicts new drivers and drivers with bad driving records so they can pay them really low these 5 star reviews are fake 500$ is the average weekly pay check most of the time unless you want to team or train the riff raff they like to hire all the time there is too much responsibility stress and time away from family to be getting paid this low if you have a family don’t come here not only will you never see them but you won’t be able to support them either expenses for living on the road are high knock of a couple hundred dollars from that 500$ paycheck you get every week just to live on the road trust me you can do better western express is bottom of barrel

Working for western express inc.as a OTR truck driver and a trainer, I have learn western express will open theirs doors to those who are willing to work hard to support themselves or family then those other trucking companies who close their doors on them.western express believes in second chance to those who willing to work hard.
