Flavio Restaurant DC reviews
33Restaurant was extremely chaotic, and they did not seem prepared to handle the volume for a Saturday night. We were given dirty appetizer plates upon sitting down, and were not brought bread until 20 minutes into our reservation. After ordering an appetizer, it took over 30 minutes to come out and came at the same time as the entrees. Entrees were very unflavorful and incredibly average for the high price. Overall, service and food quality could be greatly improved.
Disgusting. « Charcuterie » is just out from a supermarket fridge, very far from authentic Italian prosciutto and sausages, spaghetti « bolognese » without any taste, the same for the gnocchi (ten in the plates!).
Our service was efficient, but I saw one cleaning a table and then the plates (!) with the same sponge - after the boss who put the plates tried to remove remaining food with his nails.
Great Food in Georgetown. Came here while attending a conference for work. Patrons appeared to be a mix of locals and tourists. Dress code is casual. I had the Branzino which was very flavorful. Others in my group had the salmon and the lamb. Both said their food was outstanding. Service is good.
Overpriced for what you get, but a nice alternative if you can't get into the better Italian restaurants nearby.
Very average food and quality of service. Not great value for money and more the feel of a sports bar. Pasta was a very small serve for the price. Not somewhere I’d go back to.
The lobster fra diavolo was quite good but the chicken dish my wife had was very tough. So a mixed experience.
The restaurant is beautiful, the food is delicious and rhe servicevis great! I had a wonderful time!
Very nice restaurant. Friendly staff and great pizza! A little pricey but what do you expect for Georgetown
The place looks nice, got there and found dirty greasy plates. Service was bad. And food is nothing close to Italian food. I do not recommend it! Nothing tasted good.
If you want Italian fast food thrown at you eat here! There is no finesse and there are a lot better Italian restaurant restaurants in Georgetown (Il Canale or Piccolo). Waiter was rude. Needed to request new cutlery for our main course. Restaurant seemed chaotic - people queuing but empty tables inside. Food was just OK!
Relaxed atmosphere with pleasant staff and food that was delectable, adequately seasoned and reasonably priced. The bathroom could have been a a bit cleaner.
Lovely place and great atmosphere, the food is delicious and the staff was very kind but would be even better if they wouldn’t stop by your table that often asking you what else you want.apart from that the place is fabulous and yes quite a delicious menu! We are coming back soon!
I went here for a friend's birthday and although the food was good, I had one complaint with the seafood pizza. It was soooo fishy. Too fishy to eat. I had to complain (which I never do) and send it back. They were very nice and replaced it with a white pizza. The ricotta gnocchi was very good though!
