Experience wasn't pleasant and my credit card was coincidentally OVERCHARGED by $110. After calling to get the charge corrected, still wasn't pleasant so I had to dispute the charge. Good thing I have a picture of the receipt I signed. Never coming back here again.

Small but quality menu of classic American food and great salads. Plenty of signature cocktails.

5 stars for the vibe, but mostly MOSES. Moses is awesome and we loved him. I hope he gets to serve us in the future because he made our experience fun. We were so late but that didn’t stop his customer service. Love this place.

It was okay, standard food and prices. Coffee was watery and potatoes had a clearly been reheated. The Lobster Benedict was quite good.

Really cool place. Decor is great and the food is really special. Weird little flavours that go great together. The portions are small the waiter said. For the starter it was absolutely ridiculous how small it was for the price. But the small plates are great value for money.

Overall a good experience.

The plates are small, Meze size, which is kinda interesting for a southern style restaurant.

Stay away from shrimp fingers, they were tasteless.

Mac&cheese, steak, and chicken were all good.

It can get a little crowded even in a week night.

Always great food and fun happy hour specials. Enjoyed the First Lady Lincoln champagne cocktail at a work hh last week. The seasonal lemonade is always worth a try as well. I do miss the full copper penny floor, but I suppose it was probably very difficult to maintain.

Food was good but waiter was terrible. Never refilled water. Left one member of our party waiting 10 more minutes than everyone else for their food.

Great atmosphere and decor. Variety of food covers a large spectrum, which provides a unique experience with every dish. Just don't plan on leaving with leftovers.

Food was delicious and creative. The flavors were yummy! 3 different kinds is deviled eggs. Food for vegetarians, meat eaters and seafood lovers.
Bartender service was not great and that's the only reason for me taking off a star.

The Lincoln is great, especially for brunch. That is really the only time the family and I go. The made to order waffles are phenomenal. The environment is great as well, which is what kept drawing us back. The staff is very friendly and talkative, which I like. I would highly recommend Lincoln if you are looking for a great brunch spot in DC.

Great Scenery, saw a motorcade from the White House. Inside was very nice, they had very fast service with awesome staff however portions where small and price was expensive.

Be Warned. I had a beef enchilada and got sick for a couple days. Might be an isolated incident, but I'd never been there before and i wont be returning.

My boyfriend and I were visiting DC from out of state over the weekend and had the chance to try Lincoln for the first time. We had actually won a package which included a gift certificate to this restaurant so we had quite a bit we were able to spend on our meal that we otherwise wouldn't have been able to. We were informed that most patrons order 2 or 3 plates for dinner, as they are "small plates". We ordered the Parker House Rolls which came with gingerbread butter and were amazing. We both got the mac & cheese which was served in a small skillet, and was one of the best mac & cheese's I've had. My boyfriend purchased a salad which was quite a large size, and the 8oz filet which was cooked perfectly to his liking (medium rare). I ordered the chicken pot pie which was generously filled with chicken, and the sweet potato risotto which was AMAZING! For desert we ordered the Peanut and Jelly which was like a deconstructed PB&J sandwich - great idea but missed a bit on the execution. Our drinks were fabulous and very unique. Our waiter was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. Food is served on a rolling basis so it doesn't come out as appetizer, main course, etc. - it comes out hot and fresh as it's ready. The seating is the only thing that throws me off a bit as there are many individual tables, but we were seated where there was a long booth on one end and a chair on the opposite side, so it's a bit too close for comfort to my liking. Overall though, this restaurant was amazing and one of the best meals we have ever had. I'm grateful we had the opportunity to visit Lincoln and appreciate the passion they put into their food and establishment.

Visited this restaurant twice so far. Both times the food was delicious, though on the salty side, so if you prefer your food "lower sodium" like I do, just be prepared to drink a lot of water. The service is great overall, though for our 2nd visit, the wait staff seemed less attentive. We had to ask for someone to take our mains order, our drinks, dessert, and then finally the check. Normally, you would expect someone to check on you every once in a while so that you're not hunting down a server. Not a dealbreaker as everyone was very friendly. Overall, 4 stars.

I went for brunch. The service was not very good. Our waiter forgot to put in the order of one of the six people at the table. Prior to that he started pouring mimosas for us that we didn't even order and charged us 11 bucks a piece for them. I guess he assumed we were doing bottomless, but never asked.

I ordered the pot pie. I was a little unsure, but the server assured me it was good. It was not. The vegetables inside were still raw, and the chicken was over cooked. I don't know how they even pulled that off. Not to mention it is super tiny. I didn't enjoy it, but still ate the whole thing because it was the size of an appetizer. The other people I were with seemed to enjoy there food, so maybe just that one item is worth avoiding.

Overall I do not think I would go again. The atmosphere is okay. But I don't really understand why they have a DJ playing EDM music in a almost empty restaurant at 10: 30 am on a Sunday. I am a fan of the boozy brunch that DC does at a lot of other places, but Lincoln felt confused. They were trying to be too much at once and didn't do any of the pieces well. If you are looking for a brunch spot in DC there are many better places.
