American Restaurant Lincoln reviews
21 Visited this restaurant while exploring Washington DC from NY. My 10 y o son is allergic to fish nuts and eggs. The waiter was informed. It took forever for my sons food to arrive since they were making sure there are no cross contamination. While we were waiting I ordered French fries and my son ate some because he was so hungry. Few minutes later his lips swelled up. Apparently at this restaurant everything is fried in one oil! Everything, fish see food, French fries. So it triggered my son an allergic reaction. We rushed to the nearest hospital. I was really surprised that one oil used for everything! Unbelievable! Very wrong! Even there are no food allergies I believe fish and see food should be separate from everything else!
We were very lucky we got to the hospital on time. And came back home to ny the following day
