REI Co-op reviews
23Friendly staff in a cool location, however, I like how the Rockville, MD store is laid out better.
Jack in bikes was super helpful. Stinks there's a shortage, but he gave me a few good options to get something preordered.
Excellent atmosphere and great employees. It's the best place to buy camping and hiking stuff. Prices are premium, but the product quality is excellent
This location is massive, in a beautifully restored warehouse. It has an enormous selection, with friendly staff. The cafe at the front of the store makes an excellent pour over if you're into coffee.
Neighborhood not great. Garage behind store but hard to find. Lots of merchandise. Employees very friendly.
This is such an amazing location! And they have a coffee shop! The employees are super friendly, as always.
REI is famous for their amazing customer service and knowledgeable employees, but this store took it to the next level. The employee at the shoe section was able to explain to me which type of sole would last me a long time, and went to the back multiple times before we find the perfect size and style. All with a smile. 10/10 experience.
I went there to get a new bag for traveling. They had a great selection and the staff was SUPER helpful at helping me find what I wanted.
Drove down from upper NorthWest to buy boots for wife. Drove around block where store is located twice to try to find parking. This is a very unfriendly neighborhood for cars. Decided it wasn't worth an $11 parking lot to see what the store was like.
Went to the store to get a Peak Design 30L backpack, asked the employee to check if they had any in stock, then another customer asked for the same item, employee went to the back and then only had one backpack and he gave it to the customer who came after me, unprofessional, never buying from this location again.
Big; spacious; great staff.
Historic building
Dc adventure station is great resource
Everyone here knew so much about all the gear! Super friendly staff and a really awesome place all around!
What's not to love? Super convenient location, you can try out gear, and pick the brains of the friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Even if you're not looking to buy something specific, the store is large and varied enough you can spend an hour or so just wandering around.
Huge store great selection and I thought I saw a coffee bar. Only garage parking but they validate
Knowlegable staff and has everything I need for any trip I am taking. Membership deals and discounts are amazing.
Greeted at the door. Friendly and helpful staff. Bicycle service rates very reasonable. Much lower than most of the new specialty bike stores in town.
Poor service. Uptight staff. Complete lack of product knowledge. Very unhelpful and rude managers on duty.
Not the REI experience you’d expect. Seems more like a political front than an actual “Huge REI”.
This was my first time at REI. I went to check it out and walked out with a pair of awesome shoes for a great price. Did not get the bear repellent though.
Great store, they have everything for the outdoors. I need size 14 shoes and they had my 1st choice in 14. They gave me a dividend and 20% off, too!
I have to admit I come here on my lunch break just to walk around and enjoy the atmosphere. La Colombe is inside the building on the left and they have a full bike servicing area on the right. Also, if you’re a member you can take part in daily classes on camping, backpacking, and outdoors activities.
