Nice people. Spent a lot of time helping my girlfriend understand various bikes. Once she had one or two she liked she test ride them for 15 minutes on a nearby bike trail (protected path, no cars). Took the time to install her bike rack. When we noticed the rack wasn't level they adjusted it for free.

I was picking up an item I ordered online. I walked there from Eastern Market. The neighborhood is in the early stages of comeback and the store is in the same building as the new Uline Arena. Customer Service is what you expect from REI, friendly and helpful.

I came here more often when it first opened and they used to be more customer focused. Now they don't care. I tried to use a member bonus card and was given conflicting info by the guy at the front door and then was turned down at the cashier. The cashier (short, curly haired girl) got defensive and wouldn't even try to work it out. So not only did I not get to use that card, I will definitely be returning all the other stuff I bought there recently. I'd rather give my business to a place that cares about their customers. Money talks and I know how to walk.
