The Ritz-Carlton, Washington, DC reviews
27Great service, friendly and accommodating from the moment you pull up to the moment you depart. Service excellence
I visited my friend at ritz-Carlton condominium residency. One of the valet parking people stole $10 from my car, I’m not sure if he might have stolen other stuff in my car. Be very careful!
I've done reviews of hotels that included some version of the phrase "It's not the Ritz-Carlton. " Well, this time, it is the Ritz-Carlton. All the amenities you'd expect and then some, at an enviable location in Washington, DC. This also means that parking can be a pain, so I wish I'd sprung for the valet service. Just don't expect anything to be cheap.
Traveled from Philadelphia to attended a gala hosted at this Ritz-Carlton, however I was not staying overnight. None the less the team at the front desk could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. The manager offered my colleague & I champagne and cookies on arrival, checked our gowns +make up bags while we went to lunch, and offered us a place to change attire/ touch up our makeup. Exceptional service from arrival to departure that exceeded our expectations. Can not wait to return.
Quality service, as one would expect. Our stay was around some birthdays and included thoughtful treats in the room on our arrival. Rooms were very comfortable and the staff was welcoming. Would definitely stay again.
Hotel stuff were great. The hotel and rooms were very very clean. We really couldn't ask for more and we will definitely stay here again.
I had a bad experience there, the first room we had the toilet overflowed so they moved us to another room that was a downgrade from the first room and bath tub also had a plumbing problem. The third room was okay but i will stay at the Four Seasons next time.
There was nothing about this hotel that we did not absolutely love.this hotel was super luxurious the staff here was so friendly and it was in a great location. If you're visiting Washington DC this is the hotel you want to treat yourself to
Excellent location, cozy, gust-oriented in every detail. From-desk is the best I have ever experienced in my long traveling life. House-keeping is seem-less & rooms are what you have been looking for: comfortable! Their is a pristine Equinox Sports Club at the second floor. Quadrant, the bar, it’s a great cocktail & wine spot. We enjoyed every single detail of our 9th marriage anniversary!
Spaceship noise on the first room coming from
The aircon. Plenty of question marks when asked to be relocated to a different room. I managed to get it sorted after a rant with front desk. This is not Ritz quality it’s a good Hilton garden Inn. They seriously need to fix their noises. It’s not so difficult. Service is good but facilities aren’t. The best add on is the gym but it’s Equinox.
What can I say? It's the Ritz. Small but well appointed and spotless rooms, amazing service and great food.
Thoughtful and luxurious hotel. The downstairs lobby can get a little rowdy sometimes. Rooms are well-maintained and clean. Location is not the most convenient, but it is walking distance to Dupont Circle.
Everything about this hotel was great. Spacious and comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff, and good location. I'd definitely stay here again.
The rooms are great, especially if you have a courtyard view. The door and desk staff are friendly and helpful, as is the service crew. Easy access to the Quadrant bar for cozy, well-appointed surroundings and West End Bistro for food. A favorite hotel of mine when I am staying in DC.
Always really enjoy my time hear. The staff is delightful, they usually have champagne when you check in, and the other fun items through out the day. The beds are very comfy. Lots of fun places near by, but it's a small treck to the metro.
Great location in the heart of DC, near Dupont and Georgetown. Super courteous and professional staff, and near many bars and restaurants.
Good, not great. Didn't appreciate a cold message from Angie Liriano, Rooms Controller, prior to my arrival. Several other properties in the area that I enjoy more.
Possibly the best service I've ever received at a hotel. Room was nice, albeit a little small, and of course staying here will cost more than other options. The big appeal is the service though. Every employee of the hotel was friendly and eager to please. Would love to stay here again on a future trip.
Turn down service, cleans multiple times a day. Attached to the mall. Overall a great hotel in a great location.
Room was well furnished with a large bathroom and temperature settings were good. I enjoyed the breakfast options and free cold water. Staff was polite and friendly.
