About one month ago we started having issues with our AC. Called AC Warehouse because we still have 3 years left on our labor warranty with them. Technician comes out and claimed that we had a bad TXV. So we scheduled for that to get replaced.

Another technician came out a few days later to replace the bad TVX. It took him maybe 30 minutes max. I found that weird because the original technician that diagnosed the issue said the repair would take about two hours.

After the repair was finished. The technician started trying to sell me some UV lights for my system. I was not interested in spending 2000$ for UV lights.

A couple days pass after the repair and the AC was still not working properly. I called AC Warehouse back and explained to them that I still had issues with the AC. The person on the phone told me the technician that did the repair said I had a dirty evaporator coil which is why the system wasn't working well. I thought that was weird because the technician never even checked the evaporator coil. I was outside watching him while he did the repair. How in the world would he know if the coil was dirty if he didn't check it?

So I decided to call another company for a second opinion. I found this company on the Trane official website, which is the manufacturer of my AC system.

This second company told me that AC Warehouse did not properly recover the refrigerant, and that they did not properly vacuum down the line set to remove any contamination from having the system open. They said the reason was because when he checked pressures, they were not stabilizing and was acting like the refrigerant was contaminated. They also said that when you open the system to repair a major part like the TXV, you're also supposed to replace the filter drier. AC Warehouse did not replace the filter drier. When they opened the air handler to look at the TXV, he said the sensing bulb was not touching the correct pipe and the TXV was not insulated properly. Also he found one of the o-rings/washers for the TXV just sitting there.

Overall he said AC Warehouse did an extremely poor job replacing the TXV. He recommended that I call AC Warehouse to come back out and correct the problem by putting another new TXV in, replacing the filter drier, and properly recover the refrigerant and vacuuming down the lines.

So I started calling AC Warehouse to have them come back out to do the job correctly. Everytime I called and asked for a service manager they said "We'll call you back" but they never call you back. Then when I call them again, they just start hanging up on me.

Terrible company that seems to have zero pride in their work. Also they're supposed to have a 1 year repair guarantee. Guess they don't like honoring that.

Stay away from this company.

The technician, Danny Mathis, was very professional, kind, and efficient when he came out for my appointment. He explained everything in detail and gave me advice on how my a/c could run more efficiently and effectively.

I have used many HVAC/Plumbing companies in the Sarasota/Bradenton area that have ran me and my wallet through the mud, until I found A/C Warehouse and Bradenton Plumbing! This is a company that takes pride in their work all while maintaining a reasonable price for repairs AND replacement. If you have any AC or Plumbing issues THIS IS THE PLACE TO CALL. The technicians are knowledgeable, respectful and overall a pleasure to welcome into my home. 10/10!

Garth lisman did our maintenance check and I give him a 10 out of 10. Most professional, knowledgeable, all around great guy. I highly recommend Mr Lisman and will request him personally for all future visits.

On Monday I called AC Warehouse to get a quote on a new AC unit and within a few hours someone showed up. He listened to my concerns and then recommended an AC unit that worked for me. He didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t want and he made the whole process very easy. Tuesday was installation day. The crew that arrived was extremely polite and respectful to the point of wiping their shoes on the rug by the door. I could see the crew was hot from the sun but they never complained but instead smiled and continued working. A rare quality these days. My overall experience has been great and I will highly recommend AC Warehouse!

All technicians are great. I’ve had Jeff doing maintenance a couple of times; he’s outstanding! Bill Johnson. I also want to mention the AC technician named Andy did an excellent job with emergency repair. He was thorough and courteous!

Jacob came out today to service our AC. Very professional and super nice guy. He's been to our house before. Extremely knowledgeable! Explained everything to me in detail, which I really appreciated and as always he goes above and beyond to always make his customers happy! I've used AC Warehouse for years and still feel they do a great job. Pat has been doing my maintenance for several years and is always on time, professional, friendly, and explains everything. I highly recommend AC Warehouse

A/C Warehouse is my go to. They're fast, communicative, professional, and I love working with them. I send lots of work their way and they always find a wat to get it done, right, the first time, every time. I love working with the friendly staff and am very thankful for them!

Brian and Marlo (the manager) refuse to do their job. Brian came out to "fix" my AC unit, which I'm paying for, and he refused to do his job due to "extra work". After the next few days, they decided they were going to diagnose the issue for the 3rd time, however, did not show up. I called again to reschedule and again, no one showed up. When I called, they told me that Brian documented that he came out at 8am and that was a complete lie. That is unacceptable and I should not have to pay for this. I hired this company in JANUARY and it is now APRIL. My AC bill has been over $800 for the past 4 months because my unit is still broken. This is the worst company to choose for any issue with your AC. They will make the issue even worse and refuse to complete the service you paid for. I am 100% reporting this company to the Better Business Bureau.

Whatever you do, do NOT hire this company. They will degrade you, lie and will NOT fix your problem.

Garth was on time. He greeted me with a friendly and professional attitude. Once he examined my a/c unit he reassured me that he would be able to provide me the best service. He gave me professional advice and answered all my questions. I will continue to renew my contract with A/C Warehouse and ask for Garth on all future service calls.

I would encourage you to not go with this company. They lie to put it bluntly. They came to fix my AC and said my compressor was not working. It was 8.5 years old and under warranty- I bought the AC from them. Even under warranty they wanted $3500 to fix it and told me I needed a new AC. I had a different AC company come the next day and the compressor was fine, I did not need a new AC. I have so many examples but simply am not up to it. Look elsewhere, anywhere else. Do not get involved with this company would be my advice.

ACWarehouse installed a new ac and hot water heater. They did a great job and suggested I enroll in the FPL Home program for worry free maintenance for 10 years. All the technicians have been very helpful and professional. I would highly recommend them

AC wasn't functioning properly. Jacob was at my house within 3 hours of my call on a Saturday. He was professional and courteous. He was able to fix the problem and show me the cause. Excellent service and work.

Do not use, unethical and essentially crooks. I recently moved to Bradenton, very near the AC Warehouse on 64. Being a part time resident, I thought it would be a good idea to have a service plan and someone to call if my AC failed while I was away. I signed up for their 200 service plan. On the first visit, a polite technician arrived, did his thing and told me my system was 1.5 pounds low on coolant. At first he said he had to charge me (coolant is $$$), but reversed and said my plan included 2 pounds free per year so I was covered. He said he filled it and we would monitor it. I left for the summer, kept my thermostat on 79 (monitored by Nest) and everything was smooth all summer. When I returned in the fall, all was well, and I had to call to get my second visit scheduled. Given there might be a leak, I wanted it looked at. A second technician arrived in January. I was busy on calls for work, so didnt get a chance to watch him. After about 45 mins of him doing things, he comes into my office, says I have big problems and need my unit replaced. He said I was down 4-5 pounds and clearly I had a leak They could fix it, but my unit was old (7 years old) but I would be better buying new. He then literally grabs a dirty note pad, scribbles out an estimate for full new system, (like he was writing a pizza takeout order) and asks me to sign. Plus he said he filled my unit with 5 pounds of coolant, and needed $400. I said if the unit needed replacement why would he fill it? I told him to get lost. I called another supplier (Airiffic) for a second opinion, he came to look at it, said the dude didn't do all the testing (he could tell because some fittings where still dirty or didn't have the caps removed) and that the unit would not run being that low on coolant. Given we didn't know what the dude from ACW did, we agreed to have him come back in 8 weeks to check. Airiffic came back this week, did the full check and service and said all was fine. The dude at AC Warehouse was clearly dishonest, looking for a sale and commission. I think they were grooming me here, the first dude planting the seed I had a small leak and the second dude coming in and validating it. What a bunch of dopes.

Our air conditioning quit on us around 4 pm on a Saturday. Called for a technician and within an hour and a half, Garth Lisman was at our door. He did the inspection on the unit and gave us the bad news that the compressor had died. He discussed our options, replace the compressor or replace the whole unit for a few dollars more. We agreed to a full replacement, he checked the supply and found that the unit we needed was in stock and could be installed on the Monday. Garth was charming, honest and had a great sense of humor. Very happy with the service he provided and we really appreciated how quickly things got done.

Pat from A/C Warehouse performed a maintenance service on March 28,2023 at my house, 4805,61st. Ave. Bradenton. He is really professional, hard worker, detailed oriented, respectful to the property and has a nice personality.
Would like to ask him come back for the next service.

My 2 year old HVAC unit evaporator coil (bought Thru AC warehouse), developed leaking Freon about 2 weeks back rendering NO AC inside the condo. New Coil was back ordered and promised on yesterday.still the back ordered new coil was not available till early October. I explained a critical need for the coil replaced to run my AC when inside condo temp were reaching 90 deg and beyond. AC warehouse did a REMARKABLE action to Take one of their new unit’s evaporator coil and replaced my leaky one to get my AC going. For this I commend their TIMELY action…

They came out and gave me a good price for the diagnosis. They were accurate with the diagnosis. However they wanted to charge me $1500 for the repair. Since I’m a DIY guy, I did my homework and found a part for $500 and replaced it in less than an hour. They wanted to charge me $1000 for one hours worth of work. That is unacceptable.

15 Reasons to DO NOT GO WITH THIS Company!
1) Went with the company for a new install and they took out a 4T unit and replaced with a 3T unit.
2) Called in again unable to keep temp tech came out and changed out valve.
3) Called in again unable to keep temp tech came out and wrapped holes saying there was to much hot air.
4) Called in again tech came out and said we should not have installed a 3T when there was a 4T and requested to replace install.
5) Called in again to follow up and another tech came out to review again and put in work order for the same.
6) Scheduled to replaced with a 4T.
7) Called in again temp was not holding on the 4T scheduled to come back out and seen where it was not installed correctly.
8) Put my house up for sell and the inspection showed there was no permit pulled for the install.
9) Called in again from inspection and temp was not holding correctly seen there was mold now growing around top of handler and the drain line precipitation was causing mold under house as well as the hot water heater pipe was bent from the original install.

Tech came out only to change out the valve again and tech did not tighten the fridge lines and house did not cool.
10) Called back for another tech to fix the install of the expansion valve and lines.
11) Tech did not show to fix the drain lines and mold around handler due to a car wreck and asked to reschedule
12) The rescheduled techs that came out was not familiar with the work order and I had to show them the drain lines. The techs refused to do the dry wall as that was not their skill set.
13) Communicated a dry wall guy would contact me which nobody called.
14) Received a call from Rob the install manager saying the same a Dry Wall Guy would reach out - nobody called.
15) Called back again and the person placed me on hold to talk to Rob and she said again the Dry Wall Guy would contact me. I asked for contact information to follow up with a "Dry Wall Guy" and she was unable to provide. My experience with this company was horrible to say the least and hope to save you time.
