Advanced Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery, Casselberry FL

I would advise to steer clear from these guys. They don't care about the patient's needs and are run by very unprofessional personel.

I had an appointment at your Lake Mary location on April 13th, Amongst other things I told them that I was having knee replacement surgery on June, 1. During that visit i stated I had "jock rash" in my groin. The doc looked at it and stated that he would get me a prescription. In about a week I noticed that my script was not filled, I called the office. The person basically told me that the script was not in my medical chart and said I did not know what I was talking about. I asked for the manager to call me. She called and confirmed that doc forgot. I get the prescription and start using it around May 1st, it made the rash worse. My wife told me to use one of the prescriptions that worked before and everything went away, I mowed the yard on May 11th and my whole groin blew up. I called and they said that they could not see me until the week of May 17th, I told them no way this was an emergency, NOTHING. I call the Altamonte location and they agreed to see me on May 13th. I told them about my surgery on the 1st of June. They were very good, they took a culture and stated that it would be a two weeks for results and gave me some ideas and another prescription. They called and the culture came back with staff infection, I went in on the 27th of May, they took another culture that would take 48 hours. I pointed out with the holiday that would be after my surgery, they stated they would watch for it over the weekend and etc. I did not hear from them, I called on June 2nd and they got back to me on the 3rd. I asked why no answers, she stated that they did not want to bother me while I was going through surgery. I told her the agreement was to get a hold of me ASAP, whatever it takes. That answer was inappropriate. Good news, the staff infection was gone. This whole issue took over 6 weeks, I will never go to Advanced Dermatology ever again. Hell you probably could care less, your process is more important than the patient. All about how many patients you can see in a day and how much $$$ you can collect.

My experience was awful. Head receptionist was rude & failed to do her job, then told falsehoods about it & then she informed me that Dr. Fojo said I had to reschedule after sitting there for 40 minutes while reception ate their ice cream/banana split. When the receptionist stated that she called for authorization and my insurance did not answer the phone (which was not true), I immediately contacted my insurance, without issue, and there was no record of her calling but had my record of calling before I made the appointment. I asked to speak to the office manager and the receptionist, with a smirk on her face, said the office manager was busy and it would "be a while. " My insurance said the referral was sufficient, yet receptionist asked me for the authorization (I guess I pull it out of a hat) and I provided my referral. If they felt they needed an authorization, they had a week to do so or at least advise me when I booked the appointment, yet they didn't. Horrible office. Dr. Mendelsohn has been my derm dr.for over 20 years. I feel bad for Dr. Mendelsohn as he is a brilliant doctor, but his reception staffers are extremely unprofessional.

Front desk gal said my referral from my PC was not acceptable, i pointed out my insurance card says there is no referall required and she argued with me. I was right. She had my insurance card in front of her. She then stated my payment was based on my deductible, again I had to show her my insurance card says I have a 75$ copay not subject to deductible. The PA who did my procedure was fine, office staff not so much

Update: My opinion is now 5 star - I had another appt yesterday (5/19/21) and the staff was helpful and friendly, nothing like my first visit. Justin was very caring and answered all my questions and I did not feel rushed. I am glad they are my dermatologist.

My first-time visit went smoothly. Really appreciated the electronic tablet for patient information instead of the century-old clipboard and pen.

Very, very pleased with the care we get at Advanced Dermatology for the past 6 years.

I absolutely love this office, the personnel are efficient, my doctor is good, and the most important the waiting time is not long.

Well I've coming to Advanced Dermatology 15 years+ and always have seen Dr. Mendelsohn.
What bothers me is the the young man Tom I believe was name was so fast with my exam I believe, well I know he missed about 3 or 4 spots or growth on my bald head, these spots may have been small to leave alone but when it comes to shaving my head it hurts a bit, for me it's sad to see Dr. Mendelsohn retire or leave but he always took great care of this old guy, took his time to look things over.

I have seen Ann Lidowski Clements for many years.she is so friendly and reassuring with her calmness that I love going to her with my skin problems. I have cancer MBC to my bones and take a lot of chemo so the side effects caused a terrible rash in certain areas of my body. When it went to my face I had to seek help. Ann definitely helped me and I will definitely continue to see her for skin problems.

I have been there a few times. I felt so rushed. I was barely able to discuss things I wanted to go over.

Efficient & kind service; Dr A. Lidoski listens to concerns & questions & provides answers that can be understood by someone not in the medical field!

Very efficient. Got in on time. Ann Lidowski was very nice took time to listen and took care of my problem.

The Doctors and there nurses are wonderful people they are very helpful and insightful andthey fill you up with lots of free samples to save you money on having to go out and buy all new soaps and washing powders.

Is more about plastic surgery then dermatologist. Went to see about a big mole in my head and doctor didn't even examine me. She just wanted to talk about my skin.

Been going here for years. Normally, the wait isn't bad, however my last visit I had to wait longer than normal. Everything else is good!

Dr. Chohan's office staff recommended Advance Dermatology to me. He is a neighbor of yours. I am a COPD patient of Dr. Chohan. I will be eternally grateful for the recommendation. I do refer friends to Advanced.

Tom the PA and Jenn the nurse took such good care of me while I was dealing with skin issues. Would high refer them to anyone I know!

Everything about my visit was great! The office staff were efficient and friendly! My wait time was minimal. Dr. Yungmunn was very thorough and personable. I would definitely recommend Advanced Dermatology and Dr Yungmunn!

I saw Ann Lidoski, PA. She was helpful, knowledgeable, kind and thorough. I will return in the future for any future issues, and recommend her to others.
