Alamo Rent A Car, Sanford FL

Never really a bad experience. From the counter to the vehicle, everything is pretty easy going. Online reservations are very easy to do as well.

Will never do business with them. Waited 2 hours for a car no reservation after a rep told me he could get me into a rental that another couple canceled their car for the manager to come back and tell me there was no cars after I was told they had canceled rental appointments.

The Orlando Sanford location was a huge waste of time. I changed the vehicle type to what the website stated was available. After waiting in line for 30 minutes, along with 3 people that were not wearing masks, the customer service rep stated they didn't have a vehicle for me. Only enough for the next flight that was arriving. Wasted an hour and a half with no vehicle. But I have the option to come back tomorrow. That's not going to happen, you've already proven you're undependable. Hope Enterprise realizes you are not a good company to partner with.

We arrived around 9: 30pm. Had reserved a small suv. An employee wanted to put us in a full size truck. Unfortunately I was a month out of foot surgery and climbing out of a truck with NO running boards on it would have been an issue for me for the two weeks we were there! Ended up taking the only suv available, a Nissan Rogue with very little options. No GPS. I don't understand why GPS is not in EVERY vehicle in this day and age! GPS should be AUTOMATIC, NOT an option! Other than that, it was comfortable and economical on gas for a car with little zip. We always use Alamo and have always had good luck, so this was an isolated incident really, but we were disappointed this time. Will try again. Hoping it's better next time!

Rented full size sedan. Had a chance for free upgrade to pick up truck. Decided to stick with brand new Nissan Altima. Pleasant personnel. Positive experience.

Paid about $500 online before arriving. When I was there to take my car. I was asked to pay about 90% more for fees and taxes!

Always have had a great experience at Alamo. Love getting to pick my own model. (Maybe you can do that everywhere now, but I have stuck with Alamo because they do that.) The staff is very helpful and it's quick and easy coming in and out. Drop off can get hectic if there are a lot of people dropping at the same time, but Alamo has enough staff out there, checking the cars in, that it is still smooth and they get you on your way on the double.

Great service. Extremely easy to check in and get the vehicle. Car did smell like cigarettes however. Not too crazy about that. Be careful of the upgrade costs though, what he told me and what they charge me with two different things. Unfortunately I didn't catch this early enough.

My husband and I rented from Alamo for a few days on our trip to Florida. We LOVE Alamo, although we find their prices a bit higher than most other companies. But the best thing about Alamo is their customer service. We’ve never had any issues when we rent through them and hope they continue to make every customer happy.

I really appreciate the level of service from their representatives, and the great rates that I receive from Alamo. Their cars seem to be much newer and cleaner than the other car rental companies.

Almost cheaper than "XXXX" [on demand transportation] from the airport to our hotel and back! Plus, we got to 'truck' around between times: we spent a day at Jessup Lake Park. The vehicle was so spacious, we didn't really need the hotel (but the hotel was nice, too). If I had the cash, I would have bought this rocketship on the spot.

Very helpful, kind, and professional! My daughter left her iPad in a van and we realized after getting through TSA.she was pretty upset. I called Alamo front desk and Amanda and Britney (Sorry if I misspelled), kindly, looked our info up and retrieved the iPad, brought it up to TSA, and followed up with me! That is first class service! Thank you!

Had a few issues when picking up our rental car during Thanksgiving, but the aftercare was better than perfect by the manager, mr. Volmar. This is why I rent at Alamo for over many years now. They keep customers happy. Friendly staff, nice location (not as busy as Orlando MCO Intl.) and easy dropping off the car once you are heading home. Next time I fly to Sanford, I will choose Alamo again.

Very good customer service! Obviously very pricey like any other car rentals, but our customer service made us thankful that we used them as our rental service.

This was my second experience with Alamo in Sanford, FL - and just like the first time I had an awesome experience! The staff were friendly and quick, my car was great and the drop off was exactly the same. I will return for my next vehicle for sure!

Very efficient and helpful! Easy to work with. From walk up to in a car in 10 minutes! Great service!
