Went in for exam and new glasses. From the moment I arrived til I left all employees were spectacular. Any questions I had were answered and at no time did I ever feel rushed. Best experience to date I've had for an exam and Emily was extremely helpful going thru my options of lens. No pressure, just a great experience. Would recommend without reservation.

I have been going there for 3 years, I can never get 2 pairs for $69.00. The staff is great but the glasses I have to get cost almost $300.00. My glasses broke before my new ones came in and was told they are not able to fix them and super glued them, I was shocked that for $300.00 they should be fixable, I have to go there because of insurance. I guess I will need to contact my insurance company and let them know the products are not very good because they are not able to fix them.
Very disappointed about the glasses the company puts out.

Update of Largo Mall America’s Best

I picked up my glasses after more than 3 weeks of waiting, and I was asked if I wanted to purchase a glass case! ’ What is up with that? I paid $276.00 for glasses and I have to purchase a glass case? I was shocked she said that. I thought we got one for free. I will never go back there.

Today (8/28/2020) I had a horrible experience with someone at the Largo Mall location. I had missed a call about confirming my appointment. I call back and the person I spoke to was so rude. She spoke to me as if I was lying about my appointment that I had made. She didn’t try at all to try and see what the problem may have been and why they could not find me in system. While on the phone with her she goes on and says “you are aware that this is the Largo Mall location” as if I was some child. I finally told her to let me speak with Jess the woman who had left me a voicemail. When speaking to Jess she was quickly able to find out that my middle name was placed as my last name and I indeed did have an appointment. I told Jess I wanted to cancel my appointment because of how rude her coworker was. She assured me that she would tell her manager. Now, Jess was very helpful and I really hope she is honest about relaying my message to her manager.

optometrists have an oath: the fourth line item in that oath: . " I WILL provide professional care for those who seek my services, with concern, with compassion and with due regard for THEIR HUMAN RIGHTS and DIGNITY".

THESE OPTOMETRISTS ARE REFUSING TO SEE PATIENTS WHO WILL NOT WEAR A FACE COVERING, EVEN IF THOSE PATIENTS CANNOT MEDICALLY TOLERATE ONE. Everyone has certain unalienable rights, and these doctors have an oath to respect their patients' rights and dignity. Shame on this corporation and the doctors who are willing to violate the OATH they agreed to when they became 'medical experts' since the implementation of their 'covid policies'.

Americas Best needs to be more transparent & forthright with their pricing. It's very decieving, 2 pairs of eyeglasses for $69.95? Wrong! After you sit down with the sales associate & add in scratch resistant, glare resistant & the warranty your looking at well over $220.

This morning I went into the location on Ulmerton, the Saleswoman (wish i remembered her name, I remember her face) was abrupt with me, & extremely impatient, I'm sitting there examining my eyeglasses that needed to be fixed & she asks me " is there anything else? I have other customers waiting, I was like excuse me I just want to be sure this was done right. I then ask for a cleaning cloth since I was never given 1& I'm told you have to buy them. WOW! You Nickel & dime me over a cleaning cloth after I spent over $230 in June? So an Associate overheard me & gave me a cleaning cloth at no cost.

As soon as my warranty is over I'm probably going somewhere else to get eyewear.

Hands down the worst customer service experience thanks to Lisa.nasty attitude and did not care atitude. I was waiting in the lobby while they were canceling my appointment due to no show up what ridiculous Services you have.it's okay for customer to wait for 20 minutes for a doctor.
But if a customer is late due to front desk ladies busy chit chatting, then who is responsible.

Excellent service and even better prices. After going to Lenscrafters and getting a quote on a pair of glasses, I came to America's Best and got a quote on the same pair and it was $250 cheaper! I will be going to America's Best Eyeglasses from now on.

First eye exam and it went very smoothly. Definitely recommend to anyone who needs glasses but is hesitant about going. Doctor Hor was very friendly and informative and Ward was made me feel comfortable about my frame choices.

Bad Service. They Said I shouldn't Speak my native tongue of Spanish. When I wasn't even Speaking to the person. I was talking to my wife.

Every single time I go in there the wait time is ridiculous, even with an appointment. I just stopped in for a new box of contacts, I already have a prescription, and was told I'd have to wait 30 minutes. I dont think so. This is exactly why everyone just buys everything online now.

Terrible customer service, rude. I had a 530pm appt, was 10 minutes late and they would not see me, I was told to reschedule.
Walked out, I will not be back.

Shopping around for Services. I need an eye exam and prescription glasses however a 2.6 rating Is definitely a red flag. According to the reviews it sounds like they need a new optometrist.

They totally scammed my husband. They up sold him $300 pair of glasses when in the end all he really needed was a +1 that you can get anywhere for like 5 bucks. Buyer beware, you’ll never get the “deal” with out them totally up selling you. They took full advantage of the fact this was my husbands first pair of glasses.

Eye doctor very crabby. I don't think she likes her job.tries to make you feel bad for wearing contacts for too long.rather then making you think your eyeballs going to fall out just explain the benefits of wearing new ones.the rest of the staff is very friendly and helpful though

I went with my adult daughter when she got her eye exam and pick out glasses today. I must say the eye exam was very thorough. Allyce could not have been nicer. As was everyone else we met. She will be getting glasses in a few weeks. Hopefully they will be fine.
