This is a cruise ship terminal, or close to it. Got on a ship, didn't tour an aquatic preserve.

Great and unusual Floridian-Caribbean food. Enjoyed a great fish sandwich in a mildly spicy coconut batter with provolone and excellent fries.

Exactly what you would expect for a Nature Preserve. Surpsingly clean, and tons of animals, insects, and birds. Worth a visit if you like nature walks.

Banana River Aquatic deserves five stars for many reasons the tour they take you on it's not just old let's put you in a better and hope you see something they explained everything like where the manatee is under the water because you can see how it puddles and the breath only thing was another boat came in the opposite direction and scared the manatee so he went under water instead of coming up but we were so close we saw dolphins we saw so many birds that you would never say in Ohio and yet they explained and answered every question you could have possibly came up with both of them were pleasant they were friendly and they took their time they didn't rush you through anyting I would recommend anyone in Cocoa Beach take the tour you find it informative but you will also find it fun

Nice nature to boat around. We didn't see enough wildlife to make it awesome, and there are so many houses on the opposite side of the waterway, that I'm giving this only stars. But it's a peaceful place to go boating with pontoon or small boats and kayaks.

Beautiful old Florida, but the politicians are siding with developers fo kill the once pristine lagoon, such a shame.

Felt like I was miles from civilization, kayaking this beautiful area - even lovely in January. We did see one Manatee. The mangroves were incredible.

Great leader, nice trip, cool animals, it's safe even for a 5 year old. Get close to many animals. Kids love it and it's affordable. Great place

We had a blast today with our good friends out for our first time on their boat in the banana river? We stopped by this island and got out on the sand bar and had a picnic. We found shells, saw a horseshoe crab, dolphins up close and personal, a bright pink bird not a Flamingo. On the way back we had 2 baby dolphins come right up to the boat in 2 feet of water. What a great day.

Had never been on the river before, so this was a great difference. I hope one day the river will be cleaner but theres not much we can do about that right now, that's something to fix over time.

The perfect place to view a rocket launch. Unfortunately the launch was cancelled, but it's a great spot nonetheless!

This is a great place to go and explore! Lots of birds, manatees, and excellent fishing for snook, redfish, sheepshead, jack chevelle, sea trout and many other saltwater / brackish species. If you're in the area its definitely worth checking out!

I used to live in Florida off the Indian River. I know the area well I was there to pick up my son's ashes so it was a very sad time he was only 34. I stopped on the banana River would my son's ashes and there were beautiful purple flowers I don't know if you can see them in the picture and my son had lived there continuously so it felt very right to stop where I did. It is a beautiful spot and you can see the NASA or whatever they have built or the old cape Canaveral launching pad from that spot. Most of Florida is very beautiful you should go see yourself

This poor Banana River Aquatic Preserve is what's left of our beautiful Preserves. The once clean, pristine part of land and water has been over utilized by humans without regard to its beauty.
Our once beautiful river is now polluted and the eco system is just about gone. There was a time, when oysters, clams, and little sea horses thrived in these waters but, they are now gone.
If you dare go into the water, and cut yourself you are sure to get a staph infection in the wound no matter the size.
Enjoy any part of it that you can but Please.take a trash bag to pick up the trash that others have left behind.
Please help save our Lagoons and Waterways by doing your part.

The guide was nice, but the person on the phone was a bit misleading about the animals we would see. He said we should see plenty of manatees, yet the guide instantly told us the manatees had migrated and we would not see any. I would go again, despite that.

It has something for everyone that loves being on the water. There are spill key islands for exploring, great fishing spots, aquatic marine life, and bird sanctuary.

Beautiful waterfront for inshore fishing, boating and watching rocket launches.

Let's work better to clean it up! Get rid of your septic and stop fertilizing your yard. Isnt the lagoon more important? We are ALL a part of the problem, let's all work to fix it together.

Banana River is very polluted. It is not safe for children. There are also damaging alge blooms and beginning of red tide invasion.
