Canaveral National Seashore reviews
39Wonderful park with lots of wildlife to see. Their turtle mound trail is beautiful. We really enjoyed sitting on the rocking chairs at the Eldora house.
Great time. Limited parking which in my opinion is a good thing as it keeps the beach very open. You do not have tons of people sitting right on top of you. Bring some form of shade with you and plenty of water. One of my favorite places to goto the beach. Season pass is well worth it.
This is a wonderful beach. It is quiet and far removed from traffic. The same is soft, and the sea was wavy, but rather tame. My only qualm was the lack of parking by the beach access points. The beach was by no means overcrowded, yet every spot was taken. The gatekeeper wasn't shy about taking my $15 for entry, but I'm not sure he was counting cars. Nonetheless, we managed and had a great day on the beach.
Whenever I want to get naked in public and get some sun on my dong, I head down to Canaveral. Go all the way to the last parking area, head down the walkway, and drop dong! There is nothing a liberating as walking down the beach with your third leg swinging in the breeze.
Beach area was very unpopulated and serene. Wish there was more information on Eldora and the colony that was there. House was locked and we didn't see any posted signs with much information.
Beautiful beaches, 26 miles of them. Excellent welcomeeducational center equipped with knowledgeable Park rangers, creative educational activities for junior rangers. Junior activities can earn you badges and pins. This is an excellent way of getting kids engaged in conservrsation and wildlife protection as well as general awareness of there surroundings.
Sun, sand and water all great. The 45 minute wait to get in was crazy. I was a little concerned about parking, considering wait time, but we found a spot in a reasonable amount of time. Very relaxing. Park rangers even gave you a heads up that park was closing, which was great. Only disappointment, was ALL THE TRASH over flowing from dumpsters. People, if TRASH can not fit into the dumpster, please find another receptacle.
Warm Friendly Playalinda Beach, Great Fishing with Surf. At Lots 12 & 13 the beach is free of people who are consumed with feeling the need to wear swimware. All Over Tans prevail at this Surfer' Paradise.
Probably the most beautiful beach in Brevard but the doubling of the entrance fee has sharply cut down on the frequency of my visits. Especially since i see no changes to warrent the 100% increase.
The beaches here are beautiful n if u go south of parking lot 5 you may see nude people or you could become one yourself!
Get away from it all. Can be busy in the water on weekends, but you can fine spots that are away from it all if you look around. Lots of spots to access the water with kayaks or paddle boards.
Beautiful beach. The drive was kind of long but it was worth it. The whole area is also very beautiful.
Cool spot to learn about a unique environment. The Black Point driving tour road was very interesting. No Manatees but we did see a dolphin at the manatee veiwing deck.
Beautiful natural beaches. Only $10 per car or season pass available. You can also fish here. Nice visitor center with bathrooms. Also a nice walking path available. Bath house at each parking/beach area with outhouse style toilets. Bring and take with all your stuff. No food, drink or garbage or rinsing areas. This is a more primitive beach, but a beauty.
Beautiful well kept national park. This is a picture of olf Florida. I like the north end of the beaches best. Pleny of native plants and wildlife.
Beautiful beach with 13 parking lots. Mostly empty when we visited. Mangroves along side of the road.
Tranquil and beautiful beach. We love the privacy and friendliness of the few other beach goers we met.
First time visit, used to go to Cocoa Beach but too busy and commerical, the natural beach and no kids at 12/13 lot is great change of pace. RV parking at lot 2
Beautiful and pretty clean. Make sure to bring a plastic bag for some trash. They only recycle cans.
This is one of the most natural, original locations to see in the state of Florida. Witness wildlife in their original, unspoiled habitat and get away from the Disneyesque commercial Florida for a day. I highly recommend spending a day here, walk on the beach, and enjoy the intercoastal waterways, including the occasional encounter with the endangered West Indian manatee. Absolutely one of the most beautiful natural places in Florida.
