CareSpot Urgent Care reviews
33I came in for ore employment drug screening. It was much better than Quest! Spacious, clean facility and not a long wait. The guy at the front was efficient but not a hint of a smile. The young woman in the back was great.
Office is nice and clean and the doctor is very kind. The lady at the front desk today is so rude and curt. Perhaps they need to find someone with people skills. Not only was she rude and unfriendly to me but a patient on the phone as well.
I wish I can actually give 0 stars to this location. I called days before to schedule a medical clearance and they couldn't tell me by phone that they only do it in between 2 weeks. Why you don't supervise people? I don't have the time to come from pompano beach to coral springs.
The check-in process was very easy not too many questions to answer. The staff was professional and friendly and I didn't wait very long to get seen for my appointment and the nurse practitioner explained things very well to me.
I appreciate that the nurses and doctors are always courteous and helpful! This wasn't my first time bringing one of my girls in. The N. P.called me before the appointment to make sure it was necessary to come in to try and save me time and money! We both decided it might be best to bring her in just in case. I was amazed that she took the time to call me. Especially right now I can not say enough how much her thoughtfulness meant to me. I would definitely recommend this specific Care Spot to anyone, and if this one isn't convenient I would recommend Care Spot as it obvious they care.
I'd give them zero stars if I could. I went to this location with a wound on the bottom of my big toe and they refused to treat me. I explained that I am diabetic and foot injuries can be very serious. They did not care. They claimed that they do not treat injuries that will need follow up attention because their billing is not set up for it. I further explained that I had the exact same injury two years ago on vacation and the urgent care patched me up and never saw me again. They continued to not care and told me that I need a wound clinic, I guess that they are just a boo boo clinic. I emailed CareSpot Corporate to complain and after a week I have not heard back. Incompetence must be company policy. If you have any health issue bigger than a boo boo I would stay away from this place and go to a real urgent care center like Med Express.
The staff at this facility are fantastic!
I was a patient there one week ago and I received excellent, empathetic and considerate, competent care. Wanda is outstanding, as is Amy and Darci! Thank you to each of you for helping me get better!
This place I've been going fot past 5 years awesome service. Point on. Thank you for helping us.
That I can go and pay for what services I want without unnecessary procedures that I don't need is really nice. Also, the hours are really good. Open till 8: 00pm is excellent. I don't like that they make the person, in my case my wife, wait in the car if they are not getting service. I feel that is excessive. Masks are required inside. Either they work or they don't.
I had only read stories of physicians telling patients that their symptoms were in their head. Today, I was told those very same words by Dr. Alexander Crystal at the CareSpot urgent care only seconds after he met me. He charged me $70 to tell me that my symptoms are all in my head.
He also began to accuse me of not taking care of myself or following up with my care. Let me provide some background to put perspective on things.
I had stabbing epigastric pain a few years back. I sought medical attention and was tested for h pylori. The urgent care that ordered the test never called and told me anything. Usually, no news is good news or so I assumed. The epigastric pain went away, and I eventually forgot about things.
It wasn't until after I went for lab work during a recent pregnancy that I saw in my online access with LabCorp that I actually tested positive for h pylori a few years back. I was never notified or treated. So, after giving birth, recovering, and becoming stable again, the pain returned and I sought help at the CareSpot urgent care.
Instead of telling me that I should seek medical attention with a gastroenterologist or PCP, Dr. Alexander Crystal told me it was all in my head and I needed to fix that first. Oh, and also charged me $70. I've never been spoken to so condescendingly in my life.
I'm by no means an anxious, depressed, or stressed person. I'm as easy going as they come. Nevertheless, this is the treatment I received from a cold, uncaring, none compassionate, and unprofessional practitioner. Never again.
I've visited this location before and encountered a very different practitioner. She was honest and told me that her options were limited, and that I should seek care for my son at an ER. She said she wouldn't charge me for a visit that she did nothing for. I appreciated her kind bedside manners and gesture.
I wish I knew her name. Dr. Alexander Crystal could take notes from her. An important part of your role is to have compassion. This will probably fall on deaf ears, but it's consolation for me in knowing that I will never return to this location. If I ever encounter this behavior or form of treatment again, I will simply gather my things, tell the physician to be blessed, and leave. You will not take my hard earned money, treat me like scum, and provide no treatment simultaneously.
*Update: That thing the doctor told me was "in my head" turned out to be H. Pylori in my stomach. I was tested and treated by a different urgent care. I'm grateful to them.
The nurse practitioner at the Coral Springs location is phenomenal. She makes you feel like an individual as opposed to just a number walking through the door.
I’ve been to this location yesterday and again today and both times Keisha the receptionist was extremely rude ignorant and unprofessional. I’m not sure why she chooses to work in the medical field or why care spot chooses to employ someone with that demeanor.
I went into carespot after thinking I had pink eye. It turns out that I didn’t. Dr. Travis sat with me and took his time to figure out what was going on with my eye and prescribed me the correct medication. I am thankful for his patience, he saved me a trip to the opthmaologist. Thank You Care Spot!
Amazing staff they take care of me super fast with out taking insurance ect, they do that at the end of the treatment. Caring nurses super clean and modern facility. Overall experience 10+. If you have a emergency this is a good place to go. Jasmine Jones the person who take care of me super professional and sweet. Thanks so much Jasmine
The Jamaican receptionist is extremely rude. She makes the business look bad. Very unprofessional and unpleasant lady. She has an angry demeanor and the worst receptionist I have ever come across. I won't be back here.
My go to for quick friendly medical appointment. From front desk reception to nurses to the doctor everyone is extremely friendly professional and genuine. I would highly recommend.
I have to give this place a 1 star after hundreds of dollars were billed to me without being informed. I've been told twice that I am only charged $49 and on another visit only charged $109. After speaking with the billing department I am being charged over $400 now after the fact. Wanda is great but that's about it.
I went in today for an allergic reaction to shellfish and had the best experience ever. I was immediately taken into a room and nurse practitioner Wanda Holmes and her staff were right on my heels. The office and rooms were very clean. They were extremely professional and courteous. I would definitely go back again if I need urgent care (hopefully I won’t need it).
Kindness of the associates, quick and reliable service. Very clean place. Nice coffee/snacks while waiting. Highly recommended
Very nice experience, the staff was very compassionate and professional and nurse practitioner David Douglas was awesome as well as the nurse and x-ray tech. She was also awesome!
