I would leave no stars if I could. Run away from this company as fast as you can. Central Transport has to be the worst company ever. I called to trace my order and they told me it was on schedule for delivery tomorrow. I go about organizing my day, contacting my client to set up a time and date for kitchen installation and everyone is happy. I wake up the next day to get a eta on the cabinets and they tell me in another 2 days. What? Are you serious? Worst experience ever!

Picked up will-call here. Main building was a little dark and abandoned feeling. Just arrows pointing to who knows where. Staff was really helpful though. Loaded my containers with no problems. Would use again.

Poor customer service! I have been working with Central Transport for a few months with no issue. They were on time and the products were delivered without damage. The issue I have is how they overcharged my company. We ordered a pallet of flooring and a cardboard tube.this tube was about 10lbs measured 4" x 4" x96". When I first opened my account I spoke to Ron and he said if it was only a thin cardboard tube there would be no issue. Well yes they shipped it and charged me $200.00! Are you kidding me? For $200 I could have shipped this overseas.this was shipped to Florida from Florida so I do not understand. As a newer customer of theirs I called them and asked for consideration to get the rate (which I was not made aware of) could be lowered and I was told no sorry there is nothing we can do. I will pay my invoice but I will tell you one thing.me and my 70 locations will NOT be working with Central Transport and I will continue to advise other professionals in my industry about their price gouging.

UPDATE: they found our box 30 days later and delivered it completely destroyed. Filed insurance and they paid a whopping $4.25! Absolutely insane. At least they could have called me and not shipped it so i didnt have to pay twice. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Lost our crate. Super noticeable crate. Customer service will not let me talk to anyone at the local distribution warehouse. It is probably sitting on the dock with no sticker and they have no idea what it is. Instead we have to file a claim and remake the item all over again.this is a one of a kind laser cut sheet.not easily replicated.poor practice in customer service.

Very fast, and pallets do get beat up but no legitimate damage. Drivers are polite and know what they are doing. Tracking only shows the last scan so there is no way to see any tracking history. Not bad, but the handling of shipments and the website could be improved.

My husband went to apply for a local line haul trucking position that was posted online. The man that he spoke with was extremely rude and would not even look at my husband while speaking. He asked my husband how much experience he had. The advertisement said 6 months minimum experience required. My husband has more than this and the man told him there's no way you will get hired. To the owner of this company, you may want to rethink who you have meeting prospective employees. Unprofessional and impolite. There's no way anyone would want to come work with that man.

Thursday 12-5-19 I was on I4 East at 7: 50PM and a truck pulling a Central Transport load rode my tail pipe like we were connected - blowing his horn for me to get out of the way. I4 is under construction and labeled as the most dangerous road in the US and when I was finally able to pull over he passed but there was a car right in front so it gained the CT driver nothing. I hope that CT investigates this driver and takes corrective action - this was a very dangerous situation cause by him.

Worst common carrier in the business. They have 1 phone number and no matter how many times you call no one picks up. That’s for days no one picks up. You hold for 30 mins and then their system drops your call. They literally have no business being in the transport business. Back to the fry station central transport. Back to the fry station.

Just avoid this company. There customer services sucks. Nobody pick up the phone and when they did they are rude AF. In my experience the worst company.

The worse and disgusting manager ever. He is extremely racist. He doesn't even know the meaning of respect to others even to his self. This company is dropping and dropping because of him. The funny and sad part is corporate doesn't care about it.

From start to finish, experience was not good. First, someone calls me to schedule delivery appointment and wants to know if I have a "lift. " My response, "No. Why would I have a lift? I paid YOU to deliver it? "... I'm given a 3-hour window (11-20 to have the item delivered, which is missed. When I call the number I was provided, and punch in the lady's extension, I get a message saying that extension is invalid. Then the message says I should go online to track my delivery. Problem is, when you go online, it wants some kind of identifier to track the package, which I did not have... Finally, about 3.25 hours into the delivery time the driver calls to let me know he is on the way... When the driver arrives at 2: 45 p.m, he is by himself and has no lift or way of getting it out of the truck. I have to help him lift the 171-pound package - bad back and all - out of the truck. The package falls to the ground... I paid $95 to have this item delivered. Not impressed, to say the least.

Their driver picked up the wrong pallet. They then said they would redeliver but did not. Their employees repeatedly told me I loaded the pallet to deflect their blame, then told me I was harassing them for contacting them about the issue. They then told me I would be charged $599 to return the pallet or threatened to salvage it. Nightmare company, please use someone else for your own sake.

PLEASE DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. I ordered a front end for my boyfriends truck from a company who used central transport and have waited over week for it to be delivered. Was to be delivered on Wednesday, Thursday then Friday and now Monday. I called and finally got through to someone today after 3 days of calling. Cost me greatly. They always update computer to say tomorrow but never comes. After getting really frustrated I Goggled the terminal and looked at their reviews.yes there reviews didn't surprise me.they are insane i could of drive there and back to pick this up. Do yourself a favor find another transport company.

Friendly professional drivers and the freight is always picked up before our close time and much cheaper than our old carrier.

One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. The only good thing I can say about them is they will answer the phone pretty quick, then they tell you a bunch of lies, they don't follow through with scheduled delivery dates/times etc. This has happened all 3 times I had to use them (the shipper picked them not me). Awful! Just awful.
