American Restaurant Checkers reviews
31Nest French fries around, rudest employees I encountered in a long time. Worse than any other drive thru!
Don’t pass Arby’s and McDonald’s you better stop at one of those places to eat gardens checkers needs new management every time I go there it’s a problem then when you call to complain no answer Nasty service sloppy food found hair in my fries people
Manager talking to employees through drive through as I was ordering. Was a bit demanding and very intolerable
Checkers what can I say about Checkers great food comes out super hot never warm and the pricing is fair to
Waited 20 minutes for order. Then when order came out it was totally wrong and the employees could care less about you.
Food is always good but service was horrible. We had a bunch of people waiting outside, some left, but it took me 30 minutes to get my food and maybe longer for the ones behind me.
Visited the Northlake Checkers to order food. My daughter and I both ordered totally different food items and we both got really sick from the food. When we got to the window, I'm assuming he is the manager wasn't pleasant when asked for condiments but the food sickness situation has made us no longer a customer. He got irritated with our request because he was too busy trying to take the order of the next car when our order wasn't even complete.
Real fast foodies know. N Dixie, Okeechobee, S. Military, even driving to Forest Hill will beat the trauma of dealing with Northlake for me and I live in lake park! So do yourself a favor and take the trip elsewhere. My pal and I drove here at 2: 30 a.m. From our encounter's start, the worker over the intercom confronted us with unprovoked hostility.before we began to order the 'effeminate' (I'll just say for sake of political correctness) male disgruntled worker had shown, to the best of my memory, the worst act of professionalism I ever recieved as a customer at any checkers to date (only superseding 2 other terrible trips to this same spot). Famished and tired, my pal attempted to order from the menu and mistakenly choose an item and asked to make a change to his order. After being rudely demanded to speak louder and undeservingly responded to as if he were an unruly child, he persevered through the berating tone of our servicer and I attempted to order. As a US veteran I am accustomed to speaking with a masculine tone at a easily heard volume. My servicer, presumably offend by my tone/volume, abruptly interrupted me and shrieked at me to modify my volume/tone.i, taught to never apologize for presenting myself as a man, kindly continued my order doing my best not to further rile up this disturbed worker. Another worker, possibly the manager, felt the need to finish my order. When we drove up, the original worker was aggressively glaring at us and proceeded to shout at us threateningly "what y'all wanna do? ! " My pal did not take kindly to this adversarial demeanor, as no man should, and inquired to the worker about his lack of quality service. The worker took to shouting argumentively and upon our request to speak with a manager refused us service and threatened to use force against us by way of law enforcement. The manager did not, nay, would not rise to their station and resolve the issue and the other workers, either fearing retaliation from their perturbed coworker or lacking empowerment ignored my call for an alternate worker to serve us. We were unjustly denied service and forced to leave empty handed. As I did not want this unfortunate incident to tarnish my love and respect for the checkers brand I took the nearly 10 mile drive to the checkers on Old Dixie and received satisfactory service, they forgot my drink, but when I returned for it the manager (who was leading from the front might I add, as great leaders do) quickly rectified the discrepancy and upgraded my drink size in exchange for the inconvenience.
Tasty, quick and friendly service. Fries always hot, burgers could be hotter. Had to ask for more fries to fill up the large size, it was quite low. Was given a full small to make up the diff.
I ordered a 10pc Wing Combo on my visit today.they gave me 5pc because they weren’t paying attention to my order. The 5 that they gave, 3 was over-cooked and literally had almost no meat on them. They also forgot to give me my fries for my combo. The guy working the fryer had no belt on so you saw all of his underwear. I called to try and place a complaint and the phone literally rang for almost 3 mins before I decided to just hang up and try again and again. Every time I go to this certain Checkers establishment, something is wrong with my order.
