Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen, Sanford FL

Always awesome at Cheddar's, I love the Wisconsin bites, and the Monte Cristo, being kind of a hard to find entree, I really enjoy they prepare it well, the batter is on point. Their fries are another favorite and the strawberry lemonade. Great service and food!

This place is awesome.we sat at the Bar and ate.the tv's was great the Bar tenders was very friendly and helpful getting our food.highly recommend this place

We sat at the bar cause the wait was about an hour. Got lucky and seats were open at the bar. The food came out cold and drinks was ok. Our steak was remade but not to what we ordered. Hopefully better luck next time

First time visit, very nice, relaxing atmosphere, the chicken strips with coleslaw and fries were awesome.service was excellent. Very satisfied.

Clean and neat looking aesthetic with pretty good service even on the busy days. The food is fantastic and the location is nice.

Good food. Jason provided excellent service. Didn't care for the Spinach Dip, but it's a matter of taste. Everything else was great. More food than I could eat. Had to get a "to go" box.

The waiter was attentive, food was great, however I asked for a well done steak and it was cooked rare, sent it back, came back and still was not well done. Very disappointed, perhaps the cook don't have in off experience cooking steak.

I have always loved Cheddar's. It consistently wins Best Cheap Eats in my hometown's local restaurant awards, but it's more than just cheap eats, it's value. The category should be Best Bang For Your Buck, because for about the same price as a meal at a fast food joint, you can get a great entree here with some killer sides and have a better quality meal.

So, I came here with my girlfriend and four of our friends for lunch one day. We get seated right away and our server starts dishing out the drinks. The whole visit she was very attentive and kept the refills coming. I was very happy considering the ghost crew that seemed to be working on a weekday afternoon.

We get a table app, the Wisconsin Cheese Bites (Hand-battered, lightly fried to order. Served with a side of homemade marinara sauce). These were very nice. Just the right amount of ooey gooey and not soaking in oil. The sauce was eh, but I'm not knocking this dish for that. You can pop these babies without ever even needing the sauce.

My girlfriend got the Monte Cristo (Smoked ham, smoked turkey, two cheeses, battered and fried until golden, with raspberry preserves and dusted with powdered sugar) with a side of the Broccoli Cheese Casserole. This sandwich was very good. I was jealous that I didn't get it. It was intimidating to pick up for the first time, but again, not dripping with oil, and the turkey with the cheese with the preserves make for a very good showing for this classic sandwich. I recommend.

Let's talk about this broccoli cheese casserole for a moment. This is by far the most interesting side dish on the entire menu. If you are wary of the word broccoli, please, don't let that deter you from this. If you like cheese and rice At All, consider ordering this dish. It was warm and cheesy and the broccoli is there mostly to serve as a textural conduit for the dish. I order this every time I come here; it is marvelous.

Now as for what I ordered, I originally wanted the Boudon Glazed Pork Chop, but I was informed that they were out of pork chops. This was a major bummer to me. My plan B turned into the 12 oz. Ribeye with sides of the Broccoli Cheese Casserole & Idaho Mashed Potatoes and I added on the sauteed mushrooms for $0.99, because why not?

I was wary with ordering the steak, because I wasn't at a steakhouse, but my server assured me that the cook that was currently in the kitchen knew what he was doing, so, I ordered it medium rare (duh), and anxiously awaited my fate.

The steak was actually surprisingly good! There was no significant amount of inedible gristle, and the seasoning was pretty on point. A simple salt 'n' pepper is all you need. It was very tender, not tough at all, and cooked to an almost perfect medium-medium rare, which I was impressed by actually considering the relative thinness of the steak itself. Good job, Cheddar's.

My sides were good. The casserole was on point and I never have a steak without mashed potatoes. The mushroom were an ok edition. I was more just looking for more food, but I didn't hate them.

Going back to the cheap eats idea, this meal was very good, and the bill only made me happier. I definitely recommend Cheddar's if you have never been here before, and I myself will returning very soon to get that evasive pork chop.

Waited at a high top table in the bar for 20 minutes without the servers making eye contact. Finally moved to the bar. I ordered the chicken and shrimp and they brought it out without the shrimp then brought me 3 shrimp on a small plate. Food was less then average. Service was the worst I've had possibly at any restaurant ever. Nothing they could do would ever make me try them again.

My first time eating here. Loved it! Delicious food! Excellent prices! Looking forward to going back!

The appetizers we're good and quick but we waited over an hour to get our entrees with four kids. Then my food was dry. The server was very nice and kept coming to check on us but a manager never came by once. I'll probably give it another try and hope it is better but our first experience was not a good one.

It took 65 minutes from the time we sat down to get our food. The manager blamed it on a kitchen upgrade.
Once we finally got the food half of it was good, the other half was so salty you basically couldn't eat it.

The food is amazing, so is the service. I'm so suprised how low the prices are. Definitely will go again & again.

Have visited this location multiple times and the Service is at this Cheddars is always horrible. The food always takes to long, the servers are not attentive, 9 times out of 10 the food is incorrect. Have visited others Cheddars and the issues seem to be at this location.

My kids and I love this place and the food and not to expensive compared to other restaurants in the area

I had the New Orleans pasta dish with a casaer salad. It was so good. And the warm soft croissant is to die for.

Their Monte Crisco is good, fried sourdough ham and turkey sandwich with powdered sugar on top and it has a pomegranate sauce that comes with it that makes it even better.

Always great food. Onion rings are excellent and not greasy. Everything I've had from menu is always deliciously.
Our waiter was good as far as taking orders and our drinks were kept filled, food delivered quickly but he was way too chatty.
