Coast Dental, Riverview FL

This is the worst place that I ever been. My daughter get braces here and every month they have an excuse for canceled her appointment, I found out that they don’t have an orthodontist and that’s why they keep canceling appointments, so far my daughter have been seeing by 4 different doctors at this office and of course they are totally loss about patients cases. This office is a total mess, I can’t take my daughter to another place because coast dental already get pay in full for this treatment. Please save you a lot of trouble and go to another place.

That Fred Prat that leave a five review is the regular dentist at this office. What a joke they reviewing themselves

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The only good thing about this place is the staff is mostly pleasant. I started bring my daughter here at 14 she is now almost 19 for ortho services (braces) we were told 2 1/2 years would be all she needed! Well we are in 5 years and still have about another 6 months or so of treatments needed. We are constantly rescheduled and sometime we showed up and no one even called us to tell us our appt had to be rescheduled. They can’t keep an ortho in this place we have seen probably 4 or 5 at this point so they all want to change up the program on her teeth which some were not good. This last ortho was the best now guess gone as we are back to numerous reschedules again. And when rescheduled it’s not like it to the following week it another 6 weeks out we are getting no where with this and We are so over it I wish there was something I could do about this! This is malpractice or something at this point and my daughter is the one suffering!

I had my first partial denture and what a pleasant experience! I have seen over 50 dentist in my lifetime & this was the BEST ever! Dr Pratt is the best dentist in Florida. The staff is excellent too. The Hygienst is wonderful and they care about you. My whole family will be coming here and I’ve sent 10 friends here already. What a truly professional experience. Terrible este lugar en la primera cita dijeron que tenía carie en 4 muelas dos arriba y dos abajo, cuando fui a la cita me atendieron una hora después y no sabían que era lo que me iba hacer, me hicieron una limpieza mal echa, pedí que me arreglaran la muela y me dijeron que tenía siete muelas con carie, cómo digerían esto si primero eran cuatro, ese día me lastimaron la boca y la lengua, y cuando llegue a casa hay tenia los puntos negros aún, no lo recomiendo no son profesionales, son terribles, el servicio pecio, me siento que me robaron ya que yo pague particular. Fuera de eso me abrieron una muela que estoy segura no tenía carie

Terrible this place in the first appointment they said that I had cavities in 4 teeth, two above and two below, when I went to the appointment they treated me an hour later and they did not know what I was going to do, they did a bad cleaning, I asked that They fixed my tooth and they told me that I had seven teeth with cavities, how would they digest this if there were four first, that day they hurt my mouth and tongue, and when I got home there were still black spots, I do not recommend it, they are not professionals, They are terrible, the service wrecked, I feel that they robbed me since I paid private. Outside of that, they opened a tooth that I am sure did not have cavities

I had an appointment scheduled for 8: 30am on Thursday. On Wednesday afternoon, I received a call asking if I could move my appointment to 2: 00 because they were “double booked”. About an hour after receiving the call, I called back to say that I unfortunately could not do so because I had an afternoon meeting. They told me that nevertheless they had already moved my appointment to 2: 00 without telling me. When I asked what they would have done if I had shown up at 8: 30, they said they would’ve just said “sorry, come back later”.

Wasted my whole day off to come get my annual cleaning. I booked my appointment a month ago for today. The front desk lady couldn’t find me my appointment then she found my info saying they have issues with the call center. Not my problem. Then she saw a note saying my appointment was cancelled they called yesterday on a disconnected number since i recently changed my number. Now how can you leave a message on a disconnected number? Over the phone a month ago i told them i will have my minor child and the person i talked to say it was fine as long as my child has on a mask and that the appt will be an hour or less. Today i was informed my child couldn’t come to the back with me because of X-rays etc and the dental cleaning doesn’t take place it would be an exam first. First of all that’s not what i was told over the phone and second of all I’m not leaving my minor child with a complete stranger in a dental office. Time to call corporate and find another dentist. Such a waste of my time and my day off.

Side note for ortho: I wish they were better at explaining things to you. I’ve gotten Invisalign, which is great by the way, but they only give you 3 trays at a time and you have have to go back every 6ish weeks to pick up them up. Mind you, you have to make an appointment to pick them up. Expect to sit in the waiting room for 30 minutes just to pick your next trays.
I feel like I waste a lot of my time making these appointments (taking time off of work to do this). This past time they cancelled my Thursday morning appointment last minute (which I took time off of work for) to tell me they are no longer gonna be there thursdays and switched there days to Fridays. Thankfully they were able to get me in the next day after I got off work.
But now this is where this gets me a little upset. I’m on my last tray of my Invisalign and was expecting to get my ridges off and get my last try when I arrive on Friday afternoon. They even told me last time I was there I was going to get my last tray and get my ridges off of everything looked good. NOPE! It was just a check up! Why didn’t they tell me that last time? ! So of course I have to take more time off to schedule an appointment on a Friday morning in two weeks to get my last tray ‍️. I hope you all know that it is not always easy to take time off, especially last minute.
I think they do a good job overall but I just wish they would explain things a little better.

I had an amazing experience here everyone is extremely professional and welcoming it’s by far the best place I’ve been too and I’d like to say thank you especially too johnnesha thanks for the excellent service.

Dr. Bryant and Val, Nasema Ortho Asst.it’s a great environment to feel comfortable in surrounded by great working staff who genuinely take their time with each person.

I have been completely terrified of the dentist until I came to this office. From the start at check in all the way till the end the staff have been so nice! Dora & Sonia are very friendly and professional always smiling making you feel comfortable. Thank you so much to Dr. Dixon and her assistant Johnnesha, you ladies are amazing! I am so grateful for everything you have done from start to finish. You ladies have become like family to me!

We are ia military family. We move around a lot. This place is horrible. Absolutely atrocious. They'll change appointments as they see fit without informing the customer.as if we don't work. They change dentists/orthodontists unexpectedly.which changes the process.which caused our kid to be in braces much longer than needed. We're just fed up with this place. Can't wait until it's over, as we paid in advance to complete our son's ortho process.

I have been coming to this Coast Dental for a couple of years now, but I recently started working with Nichole, the dental hygienist. All I can say is WOW! It was THE BEST cleaning I have ever had on my mouth! She was very careful to clean thoroughly, even going back to clean certain places that she may have missed initially. Honestly, my mouth and teeth felt like a million bucks after the cleaning. She was also incredibly friendly which made the whole process great. Finally, the front desk staff are always very helpful and make sure that I have all my matters taken care of quickly. Friendly dentist and staff.what more could you ask for?
