Such a great staff! Our dog is nervous around strangers and this was his first visit to their office so they gave me a muzzle to put on him (at our request not theirs) before we brought him in. The staff quickly weighed our dog and brought us to a room. The front desk staff was polite and ready for us when we got there. Dr. Alfonso was in the room with us in just a few minutes, she listed to what was going on with our dog and gave a very thorough and gentle exam. Our dog was very relaxed with the calm and comforting demeanor from the staff and doctor. Riley was assisting Dr. Alfonso and they worked together so well, such a great team! They provided us with a great explanation of the tests that they recommended and the cost before they did anything. We left with the necessary prescriptions, shampoo, and they scheduled our follow up appointment and discussed what tests will be required and what the costs were before we left. I feel like my fur baby is FINALLY in the hands of a practice that genuinely cares about animals. I have full confidence in them and would recommend them to anyone who's thinking about going there! Thank you so much Dr. Alfonso and Riley for your care and support! Can't wait to see you all again for the next check up!

They are great with my older cat. She has Kidney Failure and I just cant bring myself to give her fluids myself. When I take her in they are very sweet, kind and caring even though the "tries to eat them" when I am not around. I am very thankful for how they treat my little girl.

This morning we noticed our cat, Auggie had worms. Frantically, we scrambled to find a vet that would take new patient walk ins & didn't cost an obscene amount on money. After calling 4 vet clinics and no one willing to help, Colonial took our information over the phone and helped us right away. Within 45 minutes, we made it, checked in, got Auggie looked at and treated. We were squeezed in last minute, and it didn’t even feel like it. They took their time with our cat and took the extra time to explain things to us as well. I was actually really impressed with the team there and the compassion they showed our little baby. We were looking for a new vet for our pets, and we found them! We really appreciate it!

After seeing another local vet that I was not impressed with, a friend recommended colonial animal hospital to me and I’m so happy she did. The office was immaculate and no nasty pet/vet smell! The staff was very knowledgeable and kind. I brought one of my kittens, Willow, in for an eye issues and both Dr. Alfonso and Riley were very patient and gentle with Willow. They made her feel very calm and comfortable before starting the exam. Dr. Alfonso did a very thorough examination of her eye and before she did further test she made sure I was okay with the price of the test which was much appreciated as vet bills can get very expensive very quickly! She also was very patient with me answering any questions I had. After the exam the checkout process was quick and easy and the price was extremely fair and did not break the bank! I’m very excited I found my fur babies the perfect vet that actually cares about the wellbeing of the animals!

Left a message and was called back within the hour to set up an appointment for the next morning. There were fresh cookies and coffee in the waiting room, and we were offered something to drink multiple times while we waited in the exam room. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, and were gentle and caring with our cat. We didn’t wait long, and the doctor identified and treated his issue quickly. The price was reasonable, and we were set up with a no-interest care credit plan which was just what we needed to cover the unexpected expense. Thanks to Colonial Animal Hospital for making our first visit comfy, quick, and painless:)!
