Community Health Centers of Pinellas Inc. at Pinellas Park

I was scheduled by my Obgyn Doctor to go to this place, because I needed a Primary Care Doctor. I called the number at 10: 30 am and spent an hour and half to see what the Doctors name and address of this location. No one answered the call. I finally dialed the extension to Case Management. He was unprofessional and not concerned. So I canceled this appointment. I did not want to go to a office who doesn’t answer the phone for their patients. This was a Big Red flag, also seeing the reviews, my instinct was to stay away from this office.

Super friendly staff. Go above and beyond. 2 appointments cancelled in less then a week. The second was yesterday (1/18/21). No one in the office.so how can they cancel an appointment for Wednesday on Monday? Doc calling in sick for the week? Very distressing.just makes you want to give up on doctors all together.

THIS LOCATION ISN'T SO BAD. HAD AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE WITH OBGYN.

I can honestly say I've been to EVERY location. I HATE CHCP. Unorganized, unprofessional, dysfunctional. They never put in your prescription when needed or sent to wrong locations. On my first few visit an MR (MEDICAL Receptionist) attempted to force me to schedule an appt with their OBGYN or they wouldn't give me a referral to remove my IUD. Another time someone from the call center told me my doctor was fired. I've repeated my feelings to several MAs & MDs but NOTHING changes. Compare them to a prison where you're (as a patient) considered a number. The best location I've been to is Druid but only because my daughter sees the pediatrician although the PA (Physician Assistant) was beyond RUDE. I'd avoid all locations honestly.

I highly recommend this office. Special thank you to Jennifer for doing all you could to help us fix the issue. You are a blessing and we are blessed to have met you. Thank you for helping me out to my car when I had full hands and talking to me like I was human and not some hot mess. Because boy I was this particular day. Keep doing what you all do! Was on hold trying to figure out Covid testing for over an hour with no one ever picking up the phone. Finally just went there (while still on hold) and waited until 1pm when drive up testing started again, but was declined because I’m not a first responder even though was deemed an “essential” worker. Testing for everyone is ONLY 5-8pm on Tuesday/Thursday and it’s NOT a rapid test and they said to get there at 330pm. No thanks, went to Tropicana field, got through in maybe 30 minutes and had my test back in 15min via email. Much better system and service over there!

They are very hard to get a hold of. No one answers the phone or calls you back. And then it is always a referral to another doctor, instead of treating the actual reason you came in. I've been a member here for over 7 years and never actually spoken to a doctor. They seem to only hire nurse practitioners that refer you to other doctors.

I regret coming here for Covid testing but at the time it was my only choice. I came with an appointment and they tested so many people before me who came in after me. What's worse is I am now on day 9 of waiting for my results and no sign of getting any information in the near future.

Brought my husband here for four months. The doctor did nothing to help. Not one single referral to a specialist. How does it help a patient that has arthritis by not sending them to a rheumatologist?

This medical office has to have the poorest management I've ever witnessed. We've had our covid test performed there. It took us multiple attempts of us driving to the facility to only be turned away. They allow people to line up and wait for hours in their cars to only be told that all spots are filled and to try again later. Scheduling an appointment was impossible for us. On our fifth try, we showed up two and a half hours before they opened up and we were able to get tested. All in all, our total wait time including waiting and testing was four hours before we left the parking lot.

To add insult to injury, it took 26 days to get my test result back. What are the results good for after 26 days?

I am hoping that this office does not stay in business much longer. These so called professionals have no place in the medical field.

Poorly ran, poorly managed, well they will also be poorly review. Do yourself a favor and RUN AWAY from that office.

DO NOT try to get your COVID testing done here. They only give you your results via their online portal. A week after getting tested i STILL could not register for my portal-even though all you need is your name, date of birth, and zip code to do so. I called and left three messages for portal assistance. They finally called today (1 week after my test) and left a voicemail that everything with my portal looked fine from their end. I tried calling right back: "This mailbox is full. " I finally paid to get tested again elsewhere because this place was so unreliable.

Do not come here for COVID testing. I came in two weeks ago for a covid test and have not gotten any results back yet. They told me it would be 5-7 days. At this point I don’t even know if I’m ever going to receive my results. This place never picks up the phone either. Go somewhere else if you want reliable service.

WAITED IN LINE YESTERDAY FOR ABOUT 25 MINUTES BEFORE THEY CAME OUT AND TOLD US THERE WAS NO MORE WALK INS. I WAS INSTRUCTED TO BE IN LINE THIS MORNING BEFORE 8 IF I WANTED TO GET TESTED. TODAY THEY LET ME WAIT IN LINE FOR OVER AN HOUR AFTER I DID AS INSTRUCTED JUST TO TELL ME THEY'RE NOT TAKING ANY MORE WALK-INS TODAY. YOU SUCK!

No mercy for people who are sick and need help!
Last Monday 07/06/2020, my wife and I arrived there before 730 am with masks in our faces and being the first patients to arrive that day, my wife complaining of some coughing wanted to be seen by a health care provider, one MA and an LPN (females) refused my wife to enter the facility because they said people with coughing were not allowed to come in, I asked them if the provider would be able to see my wife outside since they have canopy tents outside, and they refused at all, too, however, a couple of women coming from the covid test line asking just to use the restroom were allowed to enter the facility by the two females staff.

I was on hold to make an appointment and waited over 1 and a half. That is not professional at all every time I call to request medicine refill or to schedule an appointment it takes so long. During the time I was on hold two different people picked up and never said they were putting me back on hold, they just did it. I'm so glad there wasn't a life threatening situation.

My daughter was told that her prenatal check that she scheduled a month ago was going to be done OVER THE PHONE a day before her scheduled appointment. When she questioned the woman that called to tell her about it, she was told condescendingly "it's covid honey" and hung up on her. Unprofessional, horrible, self serving people here. BTW, she has insurance and pays her bills so they can't use that excuse either.

Stay away from this place. Seriously rethink going here unless you are desperate, besides, you can spend hours calling, nobody answer.

Went there 7/9 for Covid test. Had an appointment. Waited well over an hour before someone came out to inform us that the computer system was down. Very disappointed with the lack of communication.
Have gone there for other things and found the staff very professional.

On 5/20 I arrived at the test site at 1: 00 and waited till 1: 22 to talk to Dr. By phone. I did and then waited almost 2 hr hrs to get tested and then others who came after me got tested first. Very bad experience with the whole thing

This by far one of the rudest place I ever been see we had a appointment at 10: 30am they told us to arrive 20 mins earlier just so that we can literally wait 3 hours and pending it's almost 1pm and I have yet to seen the doctor smh

They changed my appointment time. Beware making appointments here. Doctor won't see you even if THEY messed up because " other patients won't get to be seen "
