CORA Physical Therapy Deland

I would highly recommend Cora in Deland especially for children. My 13 year old son had major surgery on both hips and knees. The surgery required surgically breaking both of his legs and we were told recovery would be tough. He had gone to Cora in Deland for a few months prior to learning he'd need surgery so when his doctor recommended he start PT again 2 weeks after his surgery it was a no brainer. We returned to Cora and I am so glad we did. The staff there is fantastic, everyone from PTs to the office staff. I'm sure they typically work with adults but they were all amazing with my son, especially Summer, Jamie and Dawn. They knew when to push him to work harder and not to cut him too much slack, but also knew when they needed to take it a little easier and not push too hard. His progress was amazing each week and he was always excited to go to his appointments and show off the new milestones he reached from wheelchair to walker to walking independently in 6 weeks and back on the baseball field in 3 months. The staff at Cora is so personable and caring that they begin to feel like family. They are also extremely accommodating and I never had a problem getting appointment times that fit our busy schedule.
