27While I have not seen the providers at this clinic, I received a call this afternoon apologizing and addressing all of my concerns with scheduling and felt that their customer service was well beyond par for that. They are accountable and receptive to patients and that’s something that is often lost in medical practices. Way to go Crescent Beach Care!
Thank you and your providers for risking their lives so we stay healthy in this time of need with the Pandemic. I cant believe that people cant understand if your office if overwhelmed with phone calls and tasks related to this. I cant thank you enough and your staff.
I was so happy with my first visit yesterday. Every one from the receptionist to the medical assistant and then Dr. Long were so friendly and great at their job. The office was extremely clean. It's very difficult to find a doctor that has a wonderful bedside manner, who is easy to talk to and who listens to the patient and is extremely knowledgeable about his profession. Fi ally after 5 long years of searching I found f a Doctor I trust and is enjoyable to be around. He is a keeper
I grew up in pharmacy and have been among medical professionals all my life. So when I say, "I've never enjoyed a visit to the doctors office this much! " That includes even visits with friends. From beginning to end, every office member was happy and involved in my care. My health concerns were addressed and treatments discussed with so much respect and insight. Truly blessed by this new partnership. I can't wait for my follow-up labs and visit!
"The office staff could be a lot more friendly & refine how they treat patients. It’s hard to get someone on the phone to help you & even trickier to get a return phone call. They expect you to mold to their schedule and have no regard for the patient’s time or work schedule. They give excuses & blame you the patient. My first few encounters with the office staff have been less than favorable. "
Being a healthcare provider myself and having been through “oops! We made a mistake” that left me in intensive care for almost 2 weeks kind of care in past, I became v e r y picky and not trusting doctors.
Until I found Dr. Thor and and Dr. Long!
I cannot say enough great things about them!
They have all qualities a good doctor should have - they LISTEN to what your concerns are, they think outside the box, they are very thorough and - omg - won’t push the pill unless you really need it!
And if they say you need it, you better take it.
So many doctors don’t know squat about nutrition or supplements, but with this clinic - you get a full package!
I feel so blessed to have found such professional and compassionate doctors that I can (and I DO) trust not only with my care, my my family as well!
Liz, ARNP, was prepared with current and past lab results to discuss throughly. She was professional, knowledgeable and took the time with me.
UPDATE: Now they are trying to call my husband and I liars that we didn't try to call multiple times because they have a "call log". We called from 3 different numbers because we have an office phone. Andi also tried to blame us and Publix pharmacy saying this whole thing is our fault.lol this has to be a joke. She scolded my husband on the phone. This is not good customer service. You should never "blame" a customer for something that isn't even in their control. On a side note, our NEW primary doctor said they get Crescent Beach care patients all of the time for the same reasons.looks like we are not the only ones!
NO ONE ever answers the phone, I have called many times, left messages and no one wants to return a phone call. My husband has been trying to get his prescription refilled and they sent in the wrong milligram to the pharmacy so now we are trying to get the correct milligram and NO ONE is answering the phone to help. Then he finally got someone on the phone and they scolded him saying since he missed his vitamin d blood word they didn't send the refill in. He doesn't need a vitamin d blood work, he needs his meds. This is crazy you can withhold a medication from someone that needs it. This isn't medicine for a sickness, it's a daily medicine that he has to have. This place has messed up so many times with his medical stuff it's crazy and so unprofessional. I went for one visit to establish as a new patient and I will not be going back after the multiple headaches of dealing with this office. Absolutely ridiculous

Dr's here are fantastic. Everyone is very helpful and patient. I've been coming here almost 3 years. Highly recommended.
I have been taking my dad to see Dr Elizabeth over one year now. I have to say She is the best doctor we have ever experienced. All staff work there are very nice to us too. Never have any problem

I have seen every provider in this practice from the doctors to the PA's, they are phenomenal. I drive 30 minutes to see them. They're the best.
When I change things in the schedule I make sure to notify the individuals involved enough time in advance. Unfortunately, the staff at CBC did not provide the same courtesy. CBC changed my appointment WITHOUT notifying me. My recommendation: DO NOT GO HERE.
Had a 9am appointment waited till 10am before we left. Office workers don't seem to care. Too bad. Dr Long is a super nice guy. I hope they can fix it.
Update: We hugged it out. All's good.
I was seen for a new appointment. New to the area looking for a good doctor. I was with my last physician 15 years. This was better than I thought it was going to be. I was able to get my lab work done immediately after meeting the doctor since I had not had breakfast. The young women taking my blood was actually the office manager covering for the usual lab tech. She scheduled my next appointment explained the referral process, the prescription refill process, how to schedule a physical once a year, and all about the new parking lot. I left this office feeling like I had been a patient for years and they knew me. I stopped at the front desk on my way out and made 3 more appointments for my wife and kids. They even gave me the paper work to take home. This is a A+ Doctors office!
I called the office today scheduled an appointment for a sore throat. The scheduler was friendly offering several appointment times and options. The wait was about 30 minutes with people constantly being called to the back. The front desk girl was also friendly even offering water to waiting patients. The nurses called me back explaining they were going to do a strep test and would know in 10 minutes if I was positive. The wait for the doctor was only 10 minutes! He told me my test was negative spoke with me about my sore throat sending my prescriptions to Publix which were ready when I arrived. Bottom line I have read several great reviews about this place I just have not been sick. Every one I came in contact with was happy and helpful. The whole experience was positive I will definitely be returning.
I split time between upstate South Carolina and St Augustine. I started using Dr Long several years ago.

Dr. Long's staff are very unethical and the treatment of patient's is absolutely astounding. Dr. Long did you tell Becky she could threaten your patients if they left bad review's? I'd just like clarification. Your going to cancel my MMJ recommendation after DOH approved it, all because I wasn't happy with being ignored and spoke to like a dog. Please explain to me how this is even ethical, this is against my rights as a patient. And it seems to me that you've had issue's with your office several times. That shows me that your employees actions are based on what comes from the top, Dr. Long that's you. I will not allow other patient's to be strong armed, disrespected, lied to and their insurance defrauded. Your employees have seriously failed and so have you.
Staff was very friendly. I was seen quickly as a walk in patient. Doctor explained everything clearly. The check out person informed me they also see family practice patients. I scheduled an appointment to make this my new primary care office. I like that every employee seemed happy. They also sent my antibiotics electronically to the pharmacy and they were ready for me to pick up by the time I arrived at Publix. Great Doctor's office!
