25 Large gym. Fulfills most people with basic interest in working out.
Downside is staff is careless and generally lazy with helping people and maintaining equipment. They got rid of the resistance bands because they're tired of people asking to borrow them from behind the desk. Basically what it boils down to is inadequate customer consideration. Dont expect anyone to help you find anything after you already signed the contract and got your "tour"
Also they close way too early on weekends. Theyre only open until 7 on the days most people have time to get a workout in. Why? Just why. Lazy
Good place to get a sesh in if you can ignore that, though.
Edit: Thanks for the response. For potential gym goers reading this it pretty much sums up the experience you'll have dealing with employees at Bee Ridge crunch. Seemingly caring but actually disinterested in anything besides saving face and finishing up their shift.
If you go to crunch check out the other locations, lakewood ranch has a really nice facility with good vibes. University is great as well although I havent spent as much time there:)
I have tried to cancel my membership since May and I have documented proof of all of my attempts. They have ignored all of my requests and continue to take money out of my account. I contacted the BBB and they have also not responded to them. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM.
Overpacked should not be giving out memberships when there is not equipment to use because are so many people working out
Greg (I think) was super helpful in setting me up with a membership! All the staff has always been very friendly. Would recommend this gym to anyone in the area
Random $50 charge the month after I tried to cancel my membership. I went in to cancel before moving out of state, only to continue getting charged. They want a mailed in letter, in 2019, to cancel. They threatened to send me to collections if I stop payment on my card and "ruin my credit over a gym membership" unprofessional and unreasonable to deal with. Do yourself a huge favor and find a more transparent and honest gym.
