This place is awesome! Beautiful scenic views at night, lots of places to sit big enough to speak in private although many people surround you. Romantic and photo worthy
In Tampa? Put this place on your list to visit, Todo list, whatever list. Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park is a staple in Tampa. A part of Tampa history. An architectural Master peice. Anyone can come here and truly appreciate this place. In downtown and have time to kill, stop by Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park.
Always enjoy visiting here. There's always something fun or relaxing to do. Be it yoga, family activities, concerts, or just stroll the Riverwalk. It's beautiful and a must see for any Tampa resident or visitor.
Beautiful park located right next to the Hillsborough River in downtown Tampa. This is the ideal place to look at the view of the skyscrapers. It is particularly beautiful during sunset. Various events are held in the park, such as free Zumba courses.
This is a nice urban park with a limitted playground, some green space on the upper deck, and an amphitheatre. Be warned, there isn't much shade here at all and the main stretch of grass is pretty much unusable in the rainy season.
If you want a nice, open, and quite safe place to walk around at night in Tampa, this is probably your best bet.
The River Walk also starts/ends at this park.
Great place for concerts, has public bathroom, small park for children, next to the river, floor fountain for children to cool off in during the summer, hot dog stand, shaded areas, great place to ride bikes.
Beautiful place to bring your family to spend a very nice quality day. You can ride bike, hover board, boats, and do many other activities.
Wonderful play place for the kids, with cool outdoor-electronic games. Oktoberfest was a blast. Plenty of biking/walking trails.
Beautiful area, right on the riverwalk. Very close to two other attractions, both museums with cheap entry. Just next to the park are some nice restaurants, public bathrooms can be found nearby aswell
My second time visiting the waterfront at night while visiting Tampla, FL. Great place for a nice walk with family, friends or alone. Changing lights along the pathway on buildings, canopies, bridges and even tall palm trees make the ambiance kind of surreal. Quotes engraved on the floor add up to the uniqueness of the area. Lovely place to visit.
Love hanging out in this area! You can stop for a drink) beer, visit the museum, walk downtown or walk along the river. Great place to spend a Saturday with nowherr in particular to be!
They have got plug ins everywhere to charge your phone, just look for a gray box on the ground. At night the lights are spectacular. Only public bathroom downtown, locked at night and doesnt open til past 9. But the drinking fountain always works & is cool fresh water. If you look like youre sleeping though, you will get harassed/warned and if you do it again youre 86d
This is a wonderful asset added to downtown Tampa. I was in photo nirvana at dusk on this waterfront. The up lighting and use of LED is mesmerizing. Pace felt absolutely safe with just the right number of people enjoying it just like I was. Easy walk from our hotel.
Tampa is an amazing City with something for everyone. This park helps shows this off in a way that brings people together to see the beautiful surroundings a picture can't capture.
