25Great food and value. Had the Beef Head, Carnitas and Barbacoa Tacos and they were delicious. Clean environment but don't expect swanky ambiance.
Had no idea this place existed even after living in the area almost 3years. The food was amazing and price was even better. Will definitely be going back!
Real authentic Mexican food at great prices! They make you feel at home the minute you walk in. A little knowledge of Spanish would be good, but isn't necessary.
El castillo is a perfect place if you are looking for true latin culture in Jacksonville. After serving an lds mission in honduras i was missing a place here in jacksonville that would take me back. This place did just that! They have a variety of different latin cultures that provide amazing variety in a small space. It is trully amazing!
I grew up in Los Angeles, CALIFORNIA and have always been surrounded by fantastic authentic Mexican food by restaurants, taco stands and food trucks since the 1970's. I missed having that caliber of food at my immediate disposal.
EL CASTILLO IS AUTHENTIC and is satisfying my cravings and then some. Try them; you will be an instant fan!
