Escambia County Tax Collector, Pensacola FL

I got there before they opened and of course there was already a line I checked in with my phone and was sent a text message and said there was a 64 min wait then 20 mins later I checked and then was a 99 min wait then 20 mins after that I checked there 46 ppl ahead of me with a 108 min wait by this time I had already been there hour and a half and I kindly approached one of the ladies behind the counter and I'm a nice time I said I know that you are busy but I have been here an hour and a half is there any way you could tell me a round about wait time bc my phone texts keep telling me more time than previous and the lady just started shaking her head and told me to check my phone and I explained to her why I was asking still in a kind manner she told me " it is what it is" and told me to check my phone. While in my time waiting before approaching her another lady asked someone else behind counter and they checked for them the half of the staff is very rude and need a lesson in customer service. Most horrible experience I have ever had.
But then again what are we supposed to do they know we have to come to DMV so they don't give a damn if you wait 4 or 6 hours. Not to mention I am late to work

People were extremly fast and helpful even though I was a few minutes late. The text message system was perfect and saved us a bunch of time. There were 2 great people who helped us, Jason and Blythe and they did a fantastic job. Least boring dmv ive ever been to.

TERRIBLE! Have been back and forth to this office 5 separate occasions each time detailing and telling me i need something else that was not brought to my attention in previous trips. Agent ALH was extremely rude and unhelpful. She had NO knowledge of basic procedures and continued to talk down and talk OVER ME when explaining what i had already done to get my Tag as if i hadn't already explained or live with the basic issue of getting a tag. Ridiculous.incompetent.and slow.
