Escape Campervans, Miami Beach FL

We booked our Escape Camper van in Orlando. The office is difficult to find and tiny but we had an excellent experience. Richard communicated with us ahead of our reservation and was very helpful with extras we definitely needed for a comfortable experience. He also had great local tips, and nearby scenic drives for our last minute adventure. We definitely recommend the experience! It’s a fantastic last minute pandemic getaway idea.

We rented the maverick for 5 days out of Orlando and could not have been more happy! The price is amazing, customer service was amazing and the van was just what we needed for our everglades trip.
Richard went above and beyond helping us with everything. The company was also very covid aware, including masks and extra cleaning.
Only recommendation we have for future customers is to purchase a florida sunpass before your trip and have it mailed to you and bring it with you. It's needed for tolls in the area and hard to find south of Orlando which is not at all escape campervans fault.

We booked a van from the new location at Orlando, which is at this time still at its early ages (it was our second experience with escape). Despite the small office, our experience there has been marvelous. Richard, the manager, has been incredibly helpful, understanding, friendly, and patient even though we arrived late on Christmas holidays because of a plane delay. He’s full of tips and his happy and energetic mood is the best thing to start a road trip.
The van was perfect and clean, as usual with escape campervans.
We can only strongly recommend this location, which is perfectly located in Florida, and has amazing staff. We would do it again without hesitation!

Our exsprence was not great but not horrible it was some where in the middle of the road. We picked up the van in Miami. We arrived at 12: 30 and waited about an hour and a half on other groups to get their vans. We finally got our paper work done and were on the road at a little past 3pm. Also be aware that there is no waiting room or formal office. Just a 10×10 storage area that they work out of. We went over the van and once we got in I realized how bad the smoke smell was. I am prone to migraine, so I called the escape van number. I was connected to a guy who apologized and offered a few solutions. One was to use febreeze, 2nd was to go get it professionally cleaned at their expense and the 3rd was that they would offer me a discount. So they did come through there. But the 3 cleaning places we went to unfortunately wouldn't clean it because it wasn't our van, and I can't use febreze because that also triggers a migraine. So the 1st day was spent with the windows down and a lot of tylenol. We were able to find a bio cleaner with no scent and we cleaned the van ourselves.
The rest of our trip went pretty smoothly only minor things with the van. One of the USB ports didnt work and the fridge leaked water into its drawer. Tip: the back turns into a bed but its lumpy. We went to walmart and picked up a 3" mattress topper and it worked great! We returned it when we were done using it. Returning the van went much quicker.

Rented a Maverik for a 5 day trip, from start to finish the process was hassle free! Everyone I met at this location was so nice and helpful. They recommended me things I didnt even think I would need and ended up using the entire trip. I would 100% be using again and will be recommending to my friends and family. We just got back from our first Campervan vacation and loved it! We rented a Maverick van from Escape Campervans for the two of us and it was perfect, not too big, but big enough to accommodate us for a week. We are from the midwest, but wanted to escape winter for a while. We rented out of Miami and drove to the the Florida Keys, then up through the everglades and checked out Marco Island and Sanibel Island. The staff at Escape Campervans was great, both email and phone support - as well as the staff in Miami. They met all of our requests and answered all of our questions. The van was comfortable, clean, and reliable. I am 6' 3" and was surprised that my wife and I both slept comfortably on the bed for a week straight. We had a small issue with the refrigerator not working after a few days and they made it right. Check in and check out for the van was easy and painless and no surprises.

This was a great way for us to try out #vanlife, and a great way to visit parts of the country without the excessive costs of hotel - especially during tourist season.

I would highly recommend Escape's camper vans. They are compact, have everything you need. You can cook in them, there is a fridge. You can park everywhere, fits in to all sort of parking garages. You can get, as an extra, camping chairs and a rooftop sleeping box. The rooftop sleeping box is rather small though. Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids under age 5) was travelling with the Grand Sur and we had enough space. We would use Escape again for sure. By the way, their uñique paintings are eye cathers, everyone was amazed by our camper van on our way.

Wonderful experience. The right size of car to travel with 3 persons, and traveling through nature & parks as well as big cities. During our trip we had already a lot of intrest of American citizens comparing our fancy painted coozy car versus their big campers.

Cheap and easy to use vans with always young and friendly staff to help you get the most of it. Escape is growing it's network which make it more and more easy to plan your road trip and have great advice from social media

Perfect campervan with a size which allows you to go in citys. Needham less fuel than the big RV‘s.

This is a great way to discover Florida with this colorfull van. All the family loved it! The fact that it is smaller and more fun than a RV change the whole experience of camping.

Everything was perfect. Prices includes everything. Customer service is great. Thumbs up to the guy who invented this company!

My 3rd time. I rented in Vegas, LA to SF, and just recently, Miami. AMAZING. This last trip i was booked (using a Groupon) for Phoenix & my flight was grounded. Went to Miami instead & Escape Campervans hooked me up.cancelled Phoenix at no charge & gave me a 5-day rental in Miami.
