24My prescription is horrible, they gave me an exam, then a few days later my glasses came in. I tried them on and instantly felt like they weren’t right. Told me to give it a few days and my eyes would adjust. I called them back and explained, they (made) me an appointment to come back in. I went back, sat there over an hour past my appointment time only to finally be told that I didn’t have an appointment and they couldn’t help me that afternoon! I explained that I was told I had an appointment set by their staff and I live 45 minutes away and they basically said they couldn’t help me because the Dr that I would need to see wasn’t there! SMH.it’s now been 2 months and my glasses are useless, I don’t even wear them. Blurry when on and gives me headaches! Wish I had went somewhere else!
Had a great service with Dr. Karim and thought this place would be my new go to spot. I felt very comfortable and thought everyone provided great service my very first visit but then went downhill. I knew it would take about 3 days as they stated for my glasses to come in. Well it was Day 3 and I waited for the call but didn't get one so I called instead. They were ready to be picked up so I proceeded to get them. I got to the store and waited patiently for them. Glasses did not feel the same as I tried on the one on display so I had them fix it. Well I took them home and put them on to find them loose again. Not only did it get loose again but there were scratches all over the lens. So I take them back. I was informed they will reorder for me. Another 3 days go by so I call again to find status of glasses to find they DID NOT even put in the order for me nor did I receive call from the manager as I asked to speak to one once my order is in the store again. I ask for a full refund as I am now frustrated and disappointed to the max. I go back in to drop the glasses off and get my refund. The only thing I receive is an apology as that will make things better because it now caused me the hassle of coming in 3 times and now finding a new store and ordering new glasses. I left the store calmly and took the apology. Well I still have to order contacts so I decided to give it a second chance. I call them and am put on hold over 5 mins which made me realize this was the last time I call them and order something from them. I called them because they told me they can price match so as I provide them the price match for contacts they tell me they can't price match. I usually don't write negative posts but I gave this place 3 tries to make things right and never had felt so invaluable as a customer. I have worked for customer service for many years and the employees here are not trained to provide exceptional customer service. An apology isn't the only thing I offer because I know it doesn't make up for the time, money and energy the customer has spent. Offering a discounted service or at least providing a price match for contacts would go a long way if you want customers to come back.
I ordered transitional lenses. I ordered 2 pair. First time I came in they gave me a regular pair and said the other pair (transitional) would take a week special order. I live far away and work. I came back a week later as told, my prescription was wrong on their end. They told me another week and come back on Saturday. I called the day before they said they had them. I came, I watched the man frantically looking for them, he said there was allegedly a defect. Now at this point they are going to mail them to me. Guess what? I got them in the mail and they are regular glasses not transitional. I am so disappointed in all my time wasted and the unprofessionalism from the lab or someone.
Dr. Karim is absolutely awesome. I was having issues with drastic and sudden changes to my eyesight, brought about my recently diagnosed diabetes. He takes the time to give you a thorough exam. He's patient and explains the causes of the shifts in vision and coaches you on questions you might want to discuss with your medical doctor. If he's available, ask for him. The support staff are all also very good, helpful and attentive. Just a heads up.they can get busy so you should make a point to follow up yourself on whether your Eyewear is ready for pick-up. That's not a criticism, just a heads up, because as I stated, they are GREAT, so they can get busy at times. I highly recommend them. (location in Wesley Chapel, near I75)
