Fence Outlet, Tampa FL

We had Fence outlet come to our house for a quote. They quoted us $2,723.00 that's with a 10% discount if we did it before June, if it was after June it would be 3,075.00 for 14 tan privacy panels that were 6×8 and 1 gate, this was last year. We decided to wait until winter to see if it was cheaper which from everything I read says it's there slow time and its the best time to buy. So I had them come give me another estimate in the winter except my back neighbor had her yard fenced in so it would be 5 less panels to buy but yet they want $2,774.00, there out of there mind. I called and they told me I don't get the discount if it's less then 100 feet. How can I pay more for less fencing? I have talked to my neighbor since she had hers installed by them as well and come to find out they charged her more then ours but yet we have the same measurements. I have already recieved other quotes at around $1,900-$2,000 that get great reviews. These people are untrustworthy, make sure you shop around.

The guys were prompt and professional. My only complaint would be they left an unused bag of concrete in the yard and left the concrete that was on the wooden fence they removed in the yard as well. If I didn't have a bad back it wouldn't be that big of a deal, but I do. But I am happy with the install and the fence.

I am happy with my fence project from Fence Outlet. The salesman took the time to ensure I understood my options. The installers were on time and professional. I even had a problem where the sprinkler heads were not inside the property line far enough and Rich sent out a technician to move them for me.

I do wish that the pre-permit process had better communication. It wasn't clear what was going on with the permit, and nobody could answer any questions about that. Other than that, the customer service was acceptable to me.

Sales Agent was prompt, professional knowledgeable and high integrity. Installation crew did a good job in a short period of time. Very satisfied with the appearance of the fence.

Man, everything was perfect up until the point that they sent me an additional invoice for $140 on a $10k job. Would have been 5 star. At the time of install, the installer (who was great) said the sales guy didn't measure properly so I could either stop the 140' section of fence 6 feet from my sidewalk or sign a letter saying they needed 1 more panel. Fence looks great, installers were great, but leaving me with a bad taste. Maybe include a little padding on a big job? You certainly had more than 1 panel of waste after cutting some of the panels.

I just had a fence installed and had many issues, so I would not recommend choosing fence outlet for your fence installation. The issues include: They use high pressure sales techniques that make the lowest price only good for while they are there. The sales manager promised one bag of cement per post and two in the gate posts. They did not even put in a full bag into each post and no extra in the gate posts. Scheduling the installation was also an issue. They were scheduled to come out Wednesday morning (so I cleared my work schedule to be available), but called at 8: 00am to say they would not be there until just after noon. I called at 1: 30 only to find that they would be here closer to 3PM, but it would be complete that day. The person arrived at 3: 45 and promptly told me that they would be dropping off the materials and coming back the following day (which was supposed to be the first day of my vacation). The person unloads the materials and puts in 3 posts, which each had less than a bag of cement. They actually only dropped off 15 bags of cement for 24 posts. The next day I approached the gentleman about the lack of concrete in the post holes and he would not even discuss it and blew up at me yelling about the cement. This was a horrible experience and should not happen to anyone paying almost $4500 for a small fence. I tried resolving this issue with Kyle the sales person and Rich the office manager, but neither of them were concerned with addressing the issue. I was not aware of this prior, but they did explain that they outsource all of the installations and that I could deal with the workers boss. This was ridiculous as I did not contract with the other company. I spoke with someone at the other company and he said that he would be here on Monday to address any issues, but never showed up. Since I could not speak to the person installing the fence civilly I decided to remove myself from that moment and just let him finish. After the work was completed, I tested each post by tapping the base of it with a stick and most of them had air pockets (which really concerns me for the longevity of the fence) in the dirt and minimal cement to be found. One of the gates also has damage as well as one of the pickets. I reached out to the teams (fence outlet manager and the subcontractor) today, but not to my surprise, no one responded. This has been by far the worst experience that I have had working with a company on a home improvement project. Buyer beware.

Used this business for both PVC fence and aluminum fence with four gates. I have an issue with the PVC fence sagging on the bottom in the middle of the fence sections and a fence post clearly leaning with one inch gap between post and fence. The fence was installed and all sections had a U-channel to cover any shifts/gaps in fence with the exception of two sections, which is where the one inch gap appears. I was hoping to get the missing u-channel to fix this and/or have them look at why the post is leaning over so far. I also requested a quote to replace a damaged section of fence at my expense. I called in and was informed that no information would be taken over the phone that I had to go online or fill out the provided information in an email for the quote. It has been 68 days that I sent the request in and I have yet to receive a response or a call that someone will reach out to me. Where is the customer service with this company? I feel like an afterthought after purchasing my fence from them. Poor product that is sagging in the middle of fence sections and poor customer service for questions, responses, and repair quotes.

Great product that I was able to retrofit into an existing fence project. These are my go-to guys from now on!

Fence outlet is a company that I would not recommend. The sales man never understood what I wanted and did his own thing. I told him I wanted my fence in front of my water spigot but instead he didn't listen and just placed in right in the middle of my window (awesome serveying right). When I told them that they were wrong the manger didn't care to listen and said sure we will just have to charge you for it. Charge me for your mistake and not doing what I wanted? Make sure they put down what you tell them or they will do whatever they want.

I have been trying since October to get a small fence installed. They came out quickly to measure and do an estimate. And since then. Nothing. I have had this escalated to management multiple times to no avail. I'm still fenceless. Guess they don't want the business?

Ordered fence and was delivered on time and got 22 bags of concrete they came on a pallet and when I got to the bottom bags 4 of them were ripped and spilling concrete all over driveway not the end of the world but was not what I wanted to clean up either

The folks at Fence Outlet are first rate and the quality of their vinyl fence is superior. They go out of their way to assist you. When I needed replacing of a fence board, because someone in the neighborhood decided it would be fun to put an arrow through it, I was nicely surprised to find out that they very affordable. I bought a couple just in case we’re attacked again. Just yesterday I went looking for a replacement bolt for the gate hinge, and they went out of their way to find an entire hinge in their excess hardware bin and gave it to me free of charge. I couldn’t find the same or similar hardware at the brand name hardware stores and would have had to pay $40-$60 to replace both with something that didn’t offered the same features as the original hardware. The little things make the difference. Thank you!

Wonderful experience from first to last! The installers were professional and detailed. They completed the project in great time and did absolutely amazing work! So happy we hired this company!

Make sure you get estimates from other companies. We had three companies come out for estimates for a new vinyl fence. Two came back exactly the same. Fence Outlet came back over $2000 more than the other two local companies. Other two companies gave me a detailed estimate of how much fence, labor and tear down was. Fence Outlet emailed a total price. No breakdown but said if we get another lower estimate to send it to them and they will see if they can lower their estimate. I am buying a fence.not a car. Not going to go back and forth for a price to see what they can get me to pay.

I needed a new fence in my backyard as my wooden one was pretty much ready to fall down. I had fence outlet out, they offered a competitive price and then got me on the schedule. When my date came they showed up, took down my old fence and put up the new white vinyl fence in a very timely manner. It was actually way quicker than I thought it would be. The fence looks great. I’d definitely recommend them for someone who is looking to get a new fence.

Melody was extremely helpful with our purchase. She went above and beyond to make sure we had exactly what we needed and we will definitely shop with her again.

My experience from first contact was wonderful. The company was flexible for installation dates and the crew did an amazing job! I highly recommend Fence Outlet!

Dan came out to look at my property and gave me a quote. He said he would come back and talk to me about the trees along my fence line because he may have to come inside my property line. I was ok with that. He never came out for our scheduled appointment. I called his cell and left a VM but still no return call. I called Fence Outlet and let them know what happened so I could get someone else to come out but instead, the guy on the phone said he would tell Dan to contact me. This was all over a month ago and I'm still without a call and a fence. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO USE FENCE OUTLET. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE! Currently looking for another company.
